A cute restaurant laid out well, great design and I like the idea coming from Chef Lane of a rustic more laid back restaurant vibe. I do not know if the staff was short (although it did not appear so)... but we waited quite some time before we even received our opportunity to order drinks. Short of the service, the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us when coming to Seattle so we made reservations early. Thank you Jordan! We had a magnificent meal as we allowed our server- Sara to guide our adventure with her recommendations. We were given a complimentary rabbit crostini with balsamic vinegar. Next we split a 1/2 order of prosciutto de parma with fermented apple slices.... More

You will need a reservation although thie pasta alone is worth a visit. Nice selection of wines, beer. The bar is limited but they make a nice martini.

Uptown a bit in a quieter suburb outside Seattle, restaurant is more calm and paced. Recommended tasting menu $100 allowed us to sample everything on the menu with wine pairing options. Freshly made pastas cannot be missed, Rabbit, fundito, we're all standouts! Could not eat everything we were so full! Educated staff are intuitive and helpful guiding the dining experience.

The pasta is so good here I dream about it. The sage pasta is memorable, trust me, you'll 'like' me afterwards! Since all the pasta is hand made on premise right in front of you, you are able to capture the freshest tasting pasta ever. Wow Wow. The service is top drawer and the staff is friendly and helpful. One... More

Appetizer: Proscuitto and melone - yes it is really expensive - and it is superb. Our party of 4 enjoyed it with the fresh baked bread and breadsticks. The chef sent out bruscetta with a rabbit pate, also superb. Primi: Our party of 4 was pretty hungry, so we requested 2 full orders of the pasta. the first was Tajarin... More

Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal at this small place, a bit out of the way in one of the trendier areas - kind of like the LES in Manhattan - with excellent, novel Italian dishes. I had the Agnolotti di melanzna (Eggplant and anchovy agnolotti with peperonata and parmigiano) and the rabbit meatballs - everyone raved about this.... More

The food itself was very good and worth eating. To be honest I don't do the fine dining thing and in the past at other places sometimes you are made to feel out of place whether deliberately or not. That was not the case at all here. The servers and staff were very helpful and friendly even if I was... More

Located off the beaten track in Seattle is a relatively small Italian trattoria known for the fresh pasta selections and moderately large wine selections including wines from Borolo. Reservations are a must. Service is excellent and the staff well-informed about the selections. The portions are generous but 1/2 sizes are available. Wine was pricey. I had the rib eye as... More

Based upon prior TA reviews, we enjoyed a fabulous -- albeit pricey -- foodie experience at Spinasse. On a not-so-busy Friday night, we went early, were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. Our server came over promptly with a friendly greeting, offering a choice of waters. He was so helpful in guiding us through the small but very specialized menu. We... More
