Go early if you want a seat. The Xia Long Bao is delicious - and basically the only dish that I find worth the crazy effort to get a seat. The garlic green beans are good too but compared to Din Tai Fungs in other...More

We waited for more than half an hour for a table even though we got there before 6pm on a Saturday. Frankly, the only good dish is the xiao long bao. Service was fast & polite.

I'll start with the good part. The food is goodl. Which is about the most important thing when you are eating, so this is why I gave it 2 stars, not one. First, it is very busy and popular. We had to wait 48 minutes...More

The atmosphere is cold, lots of space, no 'blockers' so it seems you are sitting with everyone else. However, the food was great! Check out the people in the front window of this place, hand forming the thousands and thousands of delicious dumplings before your...More

In a shopping mall on an upper level. Used my trusty Tripadvisor app and was not let down. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the dinner and surroundings.

This place is located in downtown Seattle on the 4th floor of a mall. They make fresh dumplings on site and it’s always packed so come prepared to wait, unless you get a seat at the bar. My bartender/waiter was great, the cocktails were delish...More

The food was terrific! Light and tasty, not heavy and greasy. Previously dined at the Din Tai Fung in Hongkong and was very happy to find the downtown Seattle location. They don't take reservations and the lines can be long, but definitely worth the wait.

My friends and I ordered broccoli with garlic, brown rice, and a few types of dumplings. The waitstaff suggested cleansing our palates before eating the truffle dumplings, and they were delicious. I also had a lychee mojito, which I enjoyed.
