My stop for Chinese pastries every time I'm on a layover for the Bolt Bus in Seattle! Consistently enjoyable. :)

Excellent wife cake and pineapple bubble tea. Comfortable and chill atmosphere. Half a block from China town entrance with the arch and dragons on the light post. Great picture opportunity. Nice and friendly staff. Delicious and immaculate looking cakes. They also have candles. There's also packaged bread to go.

We stopped into the shop while we were visiting Chinatown. I ordered a cup of coffee and their strawberry cake. Cake had fresh strawberries in the middle of the yellow cake layers. The frosting was light and complemented the cake, instead of overpowering it.

We visited Chinatown in Seattle specifically to see the Panama Hotel the setting for the book "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet". While in Chinatown we strolled the streets and passed so many small, mom & pop, Asian restaurants. What made us choose A Piece of Cake Bakery & Café was that we were in the mood for... More

Beautiful cakes here in the display windows. Tasty and reasonably priced by the slice or whole cake.

Was passing will visiting Pioneer Square and China Town. Serves hot Chinese food as well as cakes. This is not a fancy posh restaurant, more a local family eatery. Rice, beef and spicy chilly $8. Pork wan-tons and noodles $8. Plenty of food, hot and spicy. Strawberry sponge delicious ($4 a slice).

It was only a year ago that this pastry shop made one of the best Asian pastries & baked buns in Seattle. I used to buy $20+ of pastries and buns almost every other week until couple months ago. Sadly, the current quality is paled in comparison to what it was a year ago. The amount of filling in the... More

We went with a group to have the hot pot soup. It took over 45 minutes to make the soups and almost everyone's was incorrect (either missing items or random non-ordered items tossed in). The rice noodles were more like spaghetti noodles and tasted bland, as did the broth. Also, no one ever checked on us, or gave us a... More

Got an egg tart, a custard bun, and a Sweetheart Cake from them today. Egg tart - meh. Crust was cold, bland, almost similar to a frozen pie crust you get at grocery stores. Egg filling was ok, slightly sweet without eggy-ness. Custard bun - disgusting! The bun was so soggy and moist that it collapsed right after my first... More
