If you like frybread you are going to love Klondike Dough Boy! I was in frybread heaven. Fried up fresh and hot with just the right dusting of flavor. They also have a small store with all kinds of goodies to purchase. You have got...to try this place! If you have never had frybread then I suggest you get down there and order some, you will be addicted with one bite! Great taste, great staff and great prices! ENJOY!More
Called fry bread, this large flat bread is deep fried and covered with cinammon and sugar. Has a unique taste and is not to be missed if you're in Skagway. It looks like a round flat doughnut and is big enough to feed 2 and...perhaps a little to feed the birds nearby. The fry bread is a winner.More
I saw this sign for fry bread and in Ireland fried bread is normally sliced white bread fried in the oil from bacon ect but this looked nothing like that so we had to give it a try.
To me it was like a gain...donut flattened and fired dipped in cinnamon and sugar. I’m not painting a pretty picture but honestly you got to try it. It was fantastic. Still warm straight from the fryer we sat out side and ate it. Like big kids we even licked our fingers after. I would go back to Alaska just for this beautiful creation.More
