We used to eat here regularly. This was one of the best restaurants for regional cuisine you could find. Within its idiom it was almost as good as Meulien. Sadly the chef has serious medical problems and it is now closed indefinately

A group of seven of us shared this delightful little spot with locals-only at the bar warming up for Christmas, and were absolutely pleased with every last detail. The set menus offered loads of value, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The sausages, terrine, fish, and coq were all delicious. And the cheese platter? Picture a kilo of every kind... More

A small and cosy restaurant, with local food galore and no airs and graces. We visited on a Tuesday night and it was full so make sure you book especially during the summer. There were 6 of us including a friend who was a Chef from another restaurant who doesn't normally comment on the work of other chefs, but on... More

Small, cozy, classic and delicious. La Bourgogne serves classic Burgundy dishes in a delightful room in the middle of town. Make reservations.

If you want to enjoy a traditional French meal, with generous portions and reasonable prices, this place ticks the boxes. You need to book and be assured of a friendly welcome from the team of ladies who run the restaurant.

A warm, homey atmosphere, family owned and operated. Solid and tasty food. Try the Grenouille dish, or the classic Coq au Vin. This is where the locals go. French foods, friendly, and reasonable. Reserve early- they fill up and only do one seating.

Tournus boasts four Michelin-starred restaurants but your visit would be incomplete without eating at La Borgogne. We always try to eat here on our first evening in Tournus as the food epitomises true Burgundian cooking in a way no starred restaurant (with the progressive pressures that brings with it) can provide. The menu has barely changed in a decade and... More

I went to Le Bourgogne with a group of 8 friends and the very friendly staff did their best to accommodate us. The food was absolutely delicious and all traditionally French- we began with classic garlic escargots and pate which everyone enjoyed, I then had their special chicken dish which came with the tastiest sauce I have ever had. I... More
