Enroute to holidays with my wife we stopped at the hotel of the same name (great hotel) but not connected I had the chefs signature menu 5 courses, my wife the 6 course, food was full of wonderful delights, and while the meal cost €260 for the 2 of us, you could see that for a special occasion a lot... Invited to this restaurant on New Year's Day (happened to be my mother-in-law's 70th). Set menu. Staff were extremely attentive to my allergies. Very professional. Staff dressed in a very classy way. Food was well presented but only one dish (amuse-bouche) got a wow out of me, rest was OK but not out-of-this world (could be because I live with... More

I must admit that I was a little bit disappointed, I sometimes felt that by trying too mix too many flavours, it killed the flavours, the house cocktail was a very good example of this. However all the staff very friendly and we had a good evening.

This restaurant deserves its awards. We were lucky to get a table at the last minute, it was packed otherwise. The food is so well presented and an individual experience. The Pinot Noir that I selected was excellent, I was a little disappointed to pay 48 Euros (one of the cheapest) for a bottle that is available for £11, I... More

Although generally sceptical about star-rating in French restaurants, we had a great experience at dinner. Courteous and professional service, experienced sommelier, harmonious yet inventive cuisine, fresh modern environment. Minor suggestions : provide a (take away) printed version of dinner, elaborate 'wine by the glass' offering.

This Michelin starred restaurant is more fine dining than you bargain for. Yes, it is a bit pretentious, but it is also superb cooking and glamourous presentation. We had lunch, as we were between Lyon and Beaune, and that worked out perfectly. The nearly 3 hours we lingered over lunch was time well spent.

Dinner. Friendly reception, nice restaurant. Modern cuisine. We had homard bleu ( 2 variations) as starter: complicated dish, very green asparagus sauce. As main we shared the volaille de bresse.Charmingly prepared, vin juras and morilles.Lovely. Informal and friendly sommelier, good wines by the glass. Reasonably priced.

This was our second visit to this immaculate venue, surprisingly tucked away on the outskirts of Tournus but it didn't match up to the first. Firstly, the staff are beyond criticism, friendly and helpful and attentive and the room is slick, smart and comfortable. As for the food, there can be no doubting the kitchen's abilities (love the way the... More

Very good food but a little pretentious. The plates appeared more important than the content. Service was slow. Staff were friendly.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal here in July. We had the tasting menu but the restaurant were happy change some of the courses so that we could try some other dishes on the menu. The food and wine were wonderful and the service was great.
