I hate to be that person, but I just don't get it. Every time I visit the restaurant, I order at least $50 worth of sushi and fried rice because it is good. However, whenever the manager settles my bill and checks me out of...the register I never have to pay for sriracha. However, with this one particular lady, she always wants to charge me a dollar for the tiniest little cup of sriracha and I don't understand why. I really hate to be that person but some consistency would be great. Entire bottle of sriracha cost $2 and some change as a customer who has a takeout order of $50 or more, I really don't think I should have to pay a dollar for a tiny little cup of sriracha especially when the manager has already told me that don't have to pay. But whoever this lady is, who always takes the orders over the phone and has a strong Asian accent, I really wish someone would tell her "listen it's okay you give soy sauce you can give some Sriracha as well and they don't have to pay an extra dollar," other than that the food is good, the vibes are good it's just this one lady who refuses to do with the manager says. BTW , Sriracha is free if you dine in but if you take to go you have to pay her $2 for a tiny, and I do mean tiny little container sriracha.More

Sushi was very warm, not fresh and smell and tasted terrible. Cups and utensils were extremely dirty as if they never made it to the dishwasher. Service was poor at best. I have dined here for several years, tonight will be the last. Save yourself...the dissatisfaction and disappointment, absolute waste of money.More

The lunch buffet here is an awesome deal. Last night we decided to stop here on the way to an event. Food was as expected, but the service was underwelming. Manager had to tell waiter to come take our order, errors with the order, entrees...came out at different times. This restaurant used to be packed on Friday nights, this time it was not. I will stick to the lunch buffet from now on.More

It was a very cold New Year’s Day of 2018 and I was craving ramen, Hubby wants yakitori and I have been eyeing this place whenever I shop in this strip so we went and took the first time risk. Unexpectedly great service and food!...Very kid-friendly, child-approved shrimp tempura. Yakitori is phenomenally tender and tasty. My ramen was great, it was a big serving that would feed two persons. Price is very reasonable. Simple setting inside and we had great total experience.More

After trying several sushi places around Atlanta, Ru San's Kennesaw gets my customer favorite for affordability and taste. The restaurant is a no frills place where they focus on affordable but fresh sushi. I usually visit for dinner but after seeing some of my deluxe...orders on the buffet I had to try it. I normally stay away from sushi buffet because of stigma and usually the ones in the buffet restaurants are bad. Not this one! They place pretty much the same rolls you would order into their buffet along with other goodies like crispy calamari, fried rice and more if you don't want to get sick of sushi. I think it's a great way for you to try different types of sushi without breaking the bank to see what you like. I would suggest they put labels on the sushi rolls, that way people know what they like to order again. Will take my kids next time to introduce them to different types of sushi, all they eat is tempura! =)More

We love sushi and miss our RuSan's restaurant since moving so it was a must visit while in the area. Their salads are scrumptious. The miso is a little salty, but good. The sushi and tempura... wow! So good. Friendly staff and quick service.

Went for lunch buffet. Unlike other Rusans franchises where there are ample fish sushi. Only had 3 dishes and the cuts of fish is smaller than the sushi rice. That's not the way fish sushi is suppose to be. The fish is suppose to cover...the rice not the other way around. The chinese run franchise does not do justice to the Rusans name. No gyoza dumplings, fried chicken, desserts unlike the other Rusans franchises in Alpharetta, Atlanta. Poor quality sushi and dishes. Not many sushi choices at this location and the sushi rice is of poor quality. They had plenty of fried sushi rolls on the buffet. This franchise is not for the sushi lovers as fried sushi is not considered true sushi. Go to the other Rusans locations especially Alpharetta and Atlanta locations like Edgewood and you can see the difference in quality and standards.More

Coming from Southern California where the Sushi is pretty amazing, I have to say Ru San's is right up with the best and the Wasabi is super good, start with a small amount as it is super hot but very good. Found out the hard...way lolMore
