There are days that I crave the melted cheese fondue at this place! My favorite is the Wisconsin Cheddar. They provide awesome dipping food like breads, pretzels, fruits & veggies. They taste amazing dipped in that cheese! Of course, cheese is not the only delicious...item available here. They offer a variety of meats to cook & paired with flavorful dipping sauces. We enjoy cooking the meats ourself at the table in the seasoned broth. Let's not forget dessert! Melted chocolates in a variety of flavors... you can't go wrong with any of them. I'm making myself hungry just writing this. Go check them out!More

We did the “date night”. 4 courses for $99! We were beyond stuffed. Sooo much yummy food!!! We had rose pettles and candles on our table!! Sandy our server was great!! Very attentive and pleasant. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was...because the music n background and the masks, sometimes it was hard to understand her NOT her fault, just the way it is. Mayb a suggestion for now no music I told the reservationist I was allergic to strawberries, said she would make a note. The first thing Sandy said “ I understand you are allergic to strawberries “. KUDOS!!! We will go back and have the cheese fondue and salad. Will b plenty for us Great time!!!More

We love The Melting Pot and go at least once a year for special occasions. We were thrilled when they announced reopening the dining room amidst the Coronavirus shutdown. I thought “How much more ideal could a safe set up be for social distancing?” All...of their employees wore masks. There were hand sanitizer dispensers installed. The server no longer makes the cheese at your table. We were seated at a booth at the end of a corridor. The booths across and next to us were empty. Shannon, our server, was wonderfully friendly. She explained the service changes. She kept our drinks refilled. Now, to describe our meal... we had five people at our table, so we had two hot plates. What that meant was we could choose two cheeses, two entree cooking styles, and two chocolates. Yay! The cheeses came first. We chose the Wisconsin Cheddar, which had a mix of cheddar and Emmenthaler cheeses, with beer, garlic & spices. Our other cheese was Spinach Artichoke, which had Butterkase, Fontina and Parmesan cheeses, seasoned with garlic. Both cheese options were served with a variety of bread chunks, Granny Smith apples, celery, and carrots. Both were tasty. The Wisconsin Cheddar was very robust. For the entrees, we decided on the Mojo style, which is Caribbean-style flavor. Each guest gets to choose the meats, or vegetarian options for their plates. Our meats ranged from shrimp and salmon, ahi tuna, teriyaki sirloin, duck, chicken and veggie potstickers. Everything cooked to a wonderfully tender texture. There was enough that we brought home leftovers. The entrees are served with potatoes and broccoli that could be cooked in the mojo also. So flavorful. Yummy! Then came the chocolate... we chose a simple milk chocolate and the Yin & Yang, which is dark chocolate and white chocolate swirled together. The chocolate was served with pieces of the following: strawberries, bananas, waffles, brownies, blondies, Oreo crusted marshmallows, and Rice Krispie treats. Amazingly decadent. Expect to spend about two hours there. Expect to spend at least $50 per person, before tax. Alcoholic beverages are available, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Note- you can go for just cheese, salad and chocolate for a cheaper option. All in all, it’s an expensive meal, but perfect for special occasions. And the set up works really well for social distancing.More

It all started when my wife got it in her head that we needed to do the "Fondue" thing. That it would be romantic on Valentine's Day. So, unbeknownst to me, she booked the package. As we arrived, the table was prepared for us with...maybe 6 or 7 rose pedals and some flowers. Charming. We had our choice of a cheese fondue, a protein entree, and a dessert. Each came with a small, very small, taste of paired wine. The cheese fondue said it had white truffle oil which I could not detect any flavor of. The items to dip in the cheese fondue were scraps of bread (suitable for feeding ducks at the park, maybe) and carrots, celery, and mealy apples. I would never have chosen carrots, celery, and apples to dip in cheese. It wasn't good. The proteins were shrimp, chicken, lobster, and steak which we dipped in a Coq au Vin broth. They were of adequate quality and quantity. The chocolate fondue dessert was fine. Not great. The wine tastings with each course were about 3 ounces, so we ordered additional wine at additional cost. Then, the bill comes. With gratuity pre-calculated and included in the bill, the total was $360. I'm going to acknowledge the fact that you pay a little something for the experience, but this price was insane. You cook the food yourself. Just because there's a few rose pedals on the table doesn't mean we should approach $200 per person. You could eat very well at Bone's, or Hal's, or Chops for that kind of money and you wouldn't be cooking the food yourself. My assessment of the scenario is that The Melting Pot is just about the only Fondue restaurant around, and with the market cornered, they think they can get away with charging these type of prices. Well, that's why I'm writing this review. I'm pretty sure we would have paid a lot less if we hadn't booked a Valentine's package, but this was extremely overpriced and disappointing in its results. It was our fault that we booked the "Package", and we were the ones who chose Fondue...but this was a complete rip off. And I think I saw holes in our waiter's shirt at the armpits. So, I'm paying $400 for a meal and this guy's uncovered armpits are hovering over my uncooked food. Unacceptable. Never gonna happen again. That will conclude any and all Fondue experiences for the rest of my life.More

My wife and I visited the Melting Pot in Kennesaw for our anniversary and it was wonderful! It had been a few years since we were last there and we were pleasantly surprised to see they had made a few changes to the menu and...even offered a brand new cooking style. Usually we just fry everything in oil, but this year they provided the new option of grilling at the table. So we requested the usual fondue pot of oil and a skillet for grilling. They seated us at a table with two burners so the two cooking methods were no trouble. I must compliment the staff on how accommodating they are. Even though there was only two of us they seated us a large table for 4 just so we could have the two burners. The menu has also changed a bit to offer even more options which allows each customer to build exactly the meal they want. I also discovered that they had really upped there game on how they season the meats so that even after cooking in the oil they had quite a bit of flavor from the seasonings. Each course was excellent and very filling. We almost did not have room for the chocolate fondue at the end, but it was so delicious we just ate slowly till it was gone. And that is the real reason we love going to the Melting Pot, we were able to enjoy the mean and each others company for about 3 hours. We never felt rushed and the staff was always right there whenever we needed anything. Very few other restaurants make you feel as relaxed and pampered as the Melting Pot.More

The food and service never disappoints! We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was a beautiful set up! The waiter was phenomenal. It did take us 3 hours to eat, which isn’t normal, but later found out because our waiter was the only...one working that night. He did a great job though and kept a very positive outlook! Would highly recommend! The alcoholic drinks are very tasty, too!More

Birthday gone 🤮🤮. Was so excited to go as I’ve never been. Service was super slow. Took two hours for a 4 course meal. Had to rush home as I was sick from the food I had eaten. Took two days to recover. Called to...let them know and nothing. Spent $50 for my one meal only to toss it all in the toilet as soon I got home. Never again. Stay away from this place. Smell the food before you eat it!!!More

Our daughter loves Melting Pot, so we took her and 3 of her friends for her 13th birthday. The friends had never been there. They absolutely loved the entire experience. We had excellent service and of course the food was perfect.
