I ate here in August of 2019 and wrote a review saying I would not order the Pad Thai again. Well, I lied. I ordered the Pad Thai today and not the best I have had. I didn’t enjoy it at all. The noodles were...too pasty and too many green onions. Plenty of pork. The service was good but it too a long time to get my meal and there were only 2 other people at the restaurant. Not sure I will go there again. If I go I would have to order something different.More

Ordered the spicy mixed seafood dinner entree and Pad Wood Sen. Appetizer was spring rolls. The spicy seafood entree Definitely had a variety of seafood, ie fresh mussels, tiny scallops, fresh bits of fish, shrimp, bits of calamari also. Mixed with red peppers and eggplant,...average in seasoning but with a little kick in spicyness! The Pad Wood Sen was also average, mild taste with no distinctive seasoning. Glass noodles was abundant with large chunks of cabbage, mushrooms, onions, red bell pepper and bits of egg, with nice size shrimp. Small quaint place, decorated nicely, be prepared to wait for your food. Ours arrived 45 min after putting in our order. We had to inquire about our appetizer which came with our “warm” meals.More

How often do you start out on one adventure only to have it turn into something else entirely? Van and I headed out yesterday evening in Boomer to go see Lights of Joy in Kennesaw and decided to grab dinner beforehand. I mapped our destination...and looked at nearby restaurants and their ratings to pick a spot. Bangkok Cabin had a solid 4.6 Google Rating with great reviews and appeared to be locally owned and operated so off we went. Bangkok Cabin parking lot was noticeably full but we found a spot near the door and parked. As we were exiting the car, a lady said are you here to eat and we replied yes. She apologized and said the restaurant was closed for a private party. I replied, clearly disappointed, that we were excited to try them because we noticed the great reviews. The lady, who we now know as Nang (part-owner and chef) told us that we must stay and join the party. Anyone who knows Van would assume we left, anyone who knows me, knows we stayed! What an incredible evening! We met new friends (Jim and Cookie, Suwan and Nang), ate authentic Thai food (Khao Man Gai-so good) prepared by this beautiful family, and were culturally enriched. Totally blown away by this family's generosity, hospitality, and kindness. I now know why Thailand is often referred to as the Land of Smiles. As far as we are concerned, Bangkok Cabin is the only Thai restaurant that exists and we will gladly support Suwan and Nang.More

This unassuming location houses a menu full of Thai treats. We sat on the porch, where our personable waiter dressed our table with a fresh, lively-patterned tablecloth upon our arrival. The shrimp rolls were fresh and appeared almost immediately. For our entrees we all chose..."medium" heat out of the "mild, medium, hot and Thai hot," and that was the right choice. We ordered Pad Thai with Tofu, the Duck special, and Cashew Chicken. Everything was well priced, plentiful, and delicious.More

Had a super tasteful and fresh dinner. Had Tom yum soup with tofu, fried rice and massamang curry. All the ingredients were fresh. If you're staying in Atlanta, it's definitely worth the trip to leave the center of the city and have your dinner here!

I went for a wedding reception. The Coconut Soup and Basil Rolls were fantastic. The curry sauce on my main dish was one of the best I have ever had. It is a small, family run business out of an old house with lots of...charm. A hidden gem.More

Mushy pad thai noodles, very light on bean sprouts, sauce was too sweet and too much scallions. Will never order pad thai here again. 😝

My wife and I stopped for dinner after Mass. I have enjoyed my meals here when I stop for lunch. My wife had the fried calamari and coconut soup and really liked both. I had the Pad Thai and was not at all satisfied. To...start with my wife could not stand the smell of it. She had to breath thru her mouth to be able to sit while I ate. I had Pad Thai at many different restaurants and tonight was the worse I have ever had. It did have a different smell and taste. The service and price was good. I will go back but would have to order something different. Note: I drank half of the wine in the picture. The glass was full.More

We visited Bangkok at 8 pm on a Thursday. Noodle soup was super fresh, green tea was served in a steeper and the Thai fried rice was excellent. Staff were hard working and friendly. Give yourself time to enjoy as it is not a fast...food experience. If you want fresh food you have to be willing to give the establishment time to properly prepare the food. Overall, excellent.More

The flavors were great but my ‘salad’ consisted of green lettuce with a couple of small pieces of red cabbage. The ginger dressing was delicious and just what my mouth wanted. Lots of noodles and I would have liked to see more veggies in my...Pad Thai but again, the flavor was wonderful! Needs some work but I’ll still go back.More

The service was fast and the soup was wonderful. The shrimp were small but full of flavor and plentiful. The broth was dark but it was good. The pad Thai was very good and it was spicy at medium. I eat spicy so it was...very good. The service was good all thru the meal. A small business doing a good job I will revisit this place.More
