First time on a business trip with colleagues who recommended it. Super location, lovely hunting lodge style building on the hillside. Superb, really impressive menu, nice presentation and very good quality. Good service, all really nice.

Beautiful location, great food, kind staff and wonderful atmosphere. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the area. One of the very few authentic places here!

Styled following the name - hunting trophies , stones and wood. The location of the hut let you forget the city problems. All gives you warm and relaxing feeling. Nice beer and meat add the impression. I find the general problem of Czech Republic -...pretty fat main courses but the menu serve tasty salads as well. So can’t complain. We came around 6 pm and the restaurant was empty but in an hour it was pretty crowded whereas it didn’t reflect the service. Surely can recommend and will visit by chance againMore

Simply divine food and such a friendly staff! Very international cuisine and yet some Czech delights as well.

Simply the best! Always you get the quality you expect for prices they charge. They like also to work with a branded products like meat or cheese and you can always meet the owner and the chef in one person, this is very valuable and...gives you the confidence. Well, we have some long-term memories related to this place so we like to stop here. But they are not improving as we go and there are several things t highlight. We had a mid-range meal and both meals were quite fatty (full of oil...and butter) so we had a stomach issues for the rest of the day and usually we don't have that :-( There was no lunch menu and just some kind of special offer which was more expensive than the standard meal... Moreover when we wanted to pay the meal, we used the meal vouchers and the waitress just said: "we don't accept it" instead of something nicer like: "I am sorry but we don't accept it"...well, they are really close to be very good but I would encourage their management to listen to the field and if they are really about to improve, they can contact me for more feedbacks.More

We had dinner there on Friday night, luckily we had a reservation as the place was full. Food was excellent - delicious soups and meats. If you go there expecting salads you will be disappointed. It is a place that meat lovers will appreciate. Highly...recommended.More

Really good sunday lunch with my family :-) The restaurant was full of people, but staff is very helpfull and friendly.

Every single time I visit Koliba, I never get disappointed. I would consider this restaurant the best one in the whole of Zlín. Always delicious and staff is very polite.

Whenever I visit this restaurant, I very much enjoy the taste of all the meals, will go back again and again.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times. The food is always good but sometimes the service can be suspect. On Friday 3rd July we arrived in Zlin and decided to go to the restaurant for dinner. We arrived about...2030hrs and much to our relief there was two or three spare tables spare. However a young woman who appeared to be in charge said we could not sit down and eat unless we had a reservation. No matter what we said she insisted that we had to leave. We noticed another gentleman who was serving so we asked him if we could sit down. He showed us to a table but unfortunately the woman came back and said to the gentleman in Czech that she had thrown us out and then told us in English to leave. We left and to be honest we felt rather embarrassed. Have no idea why she was so rude and I suspect that as we all spoke in English the woman had no idea that my wife was Czech. Not sure if we will go again- a great shame.More
