Pizzerie Marco is located in the historical center of the town of Vimperk. There is a parking lot right in front of the restaurant as well as a terrace, which is pleasant to sit on in summertime. The historical cellar of the former municipal brewery with vaulted rooms and an individually furnished interior will intensity a great time spent with delicious Italian cuisine. The total capacity of the pizzeria is 60 seats

Na základě recenzí z TripAdvisoru jsme vyzkoušeli a nelitujeme. Pěkná atmosférs, příjemná obsluha, dobrá pizza (za přiměřenou cenou 120-150CZK), ale pátou hvězdičku z hodnocení jsem nedal kvůli několika otravným mouchám (obsluha o nich ví a bojuje...)
Based on the TripAdvisor reviews we tried and do not regret. Pleasant atmosphere, nice staff, great pizza (for fair price - 4.5 - 5.5€), but the fifth star was not given due to several annoying flies (staff know abou this and fight them...)

A Nice restaurant good food they recently changed the restaurant and the menukaart its bigger and there is now a beautifull terase.

We was very hungry, we looked for any restaurant, and Pizzeria Marco was the first we found. But we didn't regret it: food was tasty, service was nice and quick. I addition, the place is child-friendly: it is a child corner near the entrance with toys, dolls, etc. By this way, children can play when wait for food.

We took a pizza and gnocchi. Both were very tasty. Also good prices and large portions. The service was very friendly and in englisch. The menu is also available in english.

We went to this restaurant in group. The pizzas and lasagna were not very good and they forgot one for our meals.
The waitress was nice, that's probably the only positive point of this restaurant!

Good pizza, good service. It's a good option if you are looking for something other than Czech food in Vimperk. They make deliveries within Vimperk.

Lovely and nice service increase level of your expectation! However food is tragedy. For example mushroom sauce is mushrooms from can put into warm cream without any taste, simply disgusting. If you will take a salát you will get plate with dry, tasteless vegetables - you have to make salát by yourself. We tried salát with salmon. What was good, that all components were fresh. Classic receipts like Aglio olio cooker destroy by his creativity - he remove chilli and added parsley. Pizzas were average - children like it, but not finished dish. We will never come back.

This place serves mostly Italian Cuisine but also has some Czech foods. The food is good but does not have the real Italian taste. I would describe it as Italian-style but it is clearly not cooked by a real Italian Chef and one can tell. Nevertheless way above standard for what you can expect for foreign food in a Czech small town ;)
The staff is average but does have difficulty when you talk to them in foreign languages.
This place delivers food to your home too.

We stopped there for a lunch on our way back from vacation. We actually called half an hour in advance to order the take away, but then decided to eat in house.
The only negative thing was that guest had to pass by the bar, where some guys were smoking heavily. However, the restaurant is large and there was no smoke near our table.

We came here as there weren't many places open in Vimperk and I am a vegetarian and this seemed our best bet for finding something without meat. It is standard italian restaurant fare, similar to what you would find in the uk - a choice of pizzas, pastas, risottos, salads, a few starters and a few desserts. The waitress spoke Czech and German. The menu had the dishes named in Italian and then explained in Czech and German. We ordered two different pasta dishes - one with mushroom and one with broccoli. The portions were large, I couldn't finish mine. The quality was fine but nothing outstanding and I found the cream a bit much about halfway through. That said, it did the job and it was also cheap - two mains and two bottles of water for just under £8.00. They gave a complimentary orange sweet at the end which was very refreshing. I would eat here again. They also have their own parking.
