Food and ambience

Delicious American char-grilled food with Hawaiian influences, served quickly and inexpensively. Featuring as many local ingredients as we can, including the delicious Punalu'u Bake Shop Hawaiian sweetbread buns for almost all of our sandwiches, goat cheese from Hawaii Island Goat Dairy, lettuce raised in Waimea, and tomatoes from Oahu. All of our burgers, fish, chicken and hot dogs are char-grilled for smokey goodness! We're the only place on the entire Big Island to get Vienna Beef hot dogs, the best hot dogs in the world! And we're also the only place in the state of Hawaii to get that Midwestern classic, the pork tenderloin sandwich. The sweetbread makes them amazing! Our French fries and

This was by far one of the biggest let downs ever. Should have known better when we walked in during peak lunch hours and the place was empty. Burnt dry onion rings. Scorched burger that was inedible, fries had no flavor asked for a large...More

What a great burger and onion rings. My husband had poblano burger and was excellent too. There usually is a 15-20 minute wait, while there making it fresh. Well worth it! Nothing better than fresh! I would highly recommend if you are in the mood...More

My husband and I ate here twice during our vacation because we loved it so much. Their burgers are some of the best we've ever had. My husband had the paniolo burger, and I had the macadamia nut pesto & goat cheese burger. I also...More

We were enticed by the '8th best cheese burger in America' sign out the front and we are glad that we came. Whilst we didn't end up with the cheeseburger, we tried the Volcano Burger. It was spicy, had a juicy patty and was very...More

The macadamia burger and salad sounded better than it was. Just another burger and salad. The salad was suppose to have a balsamic dressing but ended up being just a colored oil. The onion rings were very good. Would only recommend the onion rings.

Awesome burger, fries and onion rings. Unfortunately no beer. But you can bring your own. Great value, just off the main drag. Friendly service and good variety.

Hidden Away but worth a little walking. Great burgers and fries. You have to hunt for the place as is back away from the road, but well worth having to do a little searching.

We visited this grill twice during our week on the Big Island. We had the char-grilled Ahi burger and hamburger. Both were great! The slaw with pineapple was a really nice twist. The staff were very helpful and our service was good. We would definitely...More
