First, good parking in the back. On that alone, a big thumbs up. Sushi Shiono is a little hidden joint in a mixed use (stored and food places) mall. The service staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and willing to help with suggestions. We had a long day driving, so a nice light meal was just what we were looking for.... More

This was our 2nd time to this sushi place. The sushi is excellent and of course all fresh. Everything from the food to the saki sampler was outstanding.

The sake options are bountiful which adds to the experience. The sushi menu was large and the service was very quick. The rolls we ordered were very fresh and very tasty. We usually are hard to please with sushi and this restaurant was very good. We would recommend for sure. Great staff and good location.

We arrived at 6:00 pm without a reservation.(could not book online as all times were unavailable). Lucked out and got a seat at the sushi bar. Could immediately tell that this place was authentic as most of clientele was Japanese. We had the seaweed salad (wakame salad), miso soup and tempura appetizers. The seaweed salad was probably the best I... More

Wouldn't have stayed if a table hadn't been vacated outside. Extremely loud inside. Staff was nice but made a big deal out of finding us a table on lanai. Four tables remained empty during our meal. Slow service and have definitely had better sushi rolls. We don't normally give bad reviews but this was not a good experience overall.

This place is horrible! We came here 2 hours ago and just got seated not even any one waiting us. They are very low on staff and need to work on management. After 2 hours we are leaving.

One of the worst sushi I had in my life, and I had a lot. Sushi was dry, with WAY to much rice. All sushi tasted the same - dry rice. To make things worse, the Sapporo draft beer was bitter.. It was horrible experience. Definitely not worth the price.

Reservations recommended for dinner, because the place is fairly small and popular with locals. Sushi, ngiri and rolls were fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. Wait time for orders on a busy Friday night was not very long.
