Not good. After traveling all day I wanted a large salad. We paid a large salad price for a few lettace leaves on an 8" plate with an under ripe tomato.

Fabulous setting, attentive staff, great food. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a drink at the bar. Live entertainment on some nights.

Made a last minute reservation through open table. We were seated right away by the very friendly staff. Wonderful views and awesome fireside table. Food was delicious. A bit pricey but would recommend at least once if you are staying at the hotel.

Beautiful location and excellent service. Our drinks were delicious, but the food was awful. Steak and chicken were clearly frozen, not fresh ingredients. For the price, we expected much higher quality. There are also stray cats who creepily stare at you while you eat. One jumped over my partner's back at one point. The seating was low to the ground... Had reservations at Rays. From the minute we pulled in the staff was helpful and courteous. The restaurant staff was also very understanding when it came to seating and explaining some items on the menu. As far as food, my wife enjoyed her steak and I enjoyed the catch of the day. Portion size of the steak and fish were... More

We stayed at the hotel where Rays on the Bay is located, so it was an easy choice. It's got a great location where you can see the water and feel the cool breeze. Food was very good and came fairly quickly - very family friendly. Service was also excellent.

His name says it all, the service we received upon eating here was nothing short from Rad!!! He was polite, precise, and over all, on top of things. His recommendations were great! The blue cheese burger was delicious! The view left my family with a overwhelming feeling of peace and serenity. Don't forget desert!!!! Chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce... More

They turn on the flood lights at 8:30pm and since the light draws the plankton that the rays like to eat that's supposed to draw them over. However, the boats have their lights on, too, and that can draw the rays away from the shore so when we were there we only spotted one ray. The food was expensive but... More

We stayed at the Sheraton in December. Our rate did not include breakfast but we decided to eat there because we were heading to Hilo and wanted to have a quick meal. Breakfast was $30 per person and SUCKED! None of the hot food was hot. It wasn't even on heating trays. Room temperature eggs, bacon and "tater tots"! Really?... More

Walked in with no reservation. Waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We weren't too hungry so we all had the burger. It was good, we didn't think it was pricey and my wife is still raving about the fries. Not sure what they did to them but they were great. I can't say anything but good for the service... More
