Small, no frills burger place with laid back vibe. Seating is utilitarian. Two TVs tuned to surfing channel. Arrived just before 4:30pm and no wait at order counter. By 5:15pm, a longish line was developing. Husband and I both chose the Ultimate cheeseburger. Burger came...with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, choice of cheese (I choose the Tillamook cheddar) and aioli sauce. We shared an order of seasoned fries that came with the aioli as dipping sauce. Burger was delicious. Hand cut shoestring fries were fresh and also delicious. Took 12-15 minutes to get food. Ordered burgers cooked medium. One came medium, the other closer to medium rare. Drinks are bottled or fountain style. Seating available indoor and out. Indoor music volume was a little high, making it difficult to have a conversation while eating. Two ultimate cheeseburgers, one order fries, two cups water came to $31 with tip and tax. Would definitely have again.More
My friends wife who I was visiting in Kona took me here for a cheeseburger. Great price in Kona for a cheeseburger at $10.95 with nice fries. Burger was cooked to perfection, moist and tender. Really enjoyed eating here. Would highly recommend going here if...your ever in Kona. Can't beat the price as most things are quite expensive in Kona.More

Thanks to great advertising online, we were able to locate this tasty burger joint in a strip mall. It's small and easily missed, but the burgers, buns and sauce were delicious. While you're in the midst of great seafood options, not everyone eats it, so...having a good old fashioned cheeseburger was a great treat.More

After spending a week in Hawaii paying 2-3x $ for mediocre meals, this was a welcomed delicious change! Unfortunately we found this on the way to the airport and wished we would have known about it earlier! The double burger was huge- juicy and delicious....Fries were thin and freshly cooked with a great dipping sauce. The salad was fresh, enough for a meal. Service was great. Recommend.More

The perfect burger ! « Ultimate » is definitely not overstated ! The only unseasoned meat we have found on Hawaii with a great meat taste, nothing more needed ! The fries are home made and as exceptional as the rest and to wash everything down we...strongly recommend the iced green tea, locally produced by Mauna Kea Tea ! Great local grass fed beef burger and homemade bun. Cooked perfectly with char on outside and MR inside. The truffle fries had great flavor but tossed in sauce after fry so a bit soggy 😔
This place was not good! The guy behind the counter was super nice but overwhelmed with the crowd. There were 7 of us. Everyone ordered their burgers medium well except me who ordered it well done. Mine came almost completely rare and everyone else's came...out medium rare. Service was slow. We waited in line about 30 minutes to place our order and it took about 30 minutes to "cook" our order. The fries were fine. Nothing to write home about. We couldn't believe how bad this place was especially after reading all the glowing reviews. Go to Kona Brewing Co or anywhere else instead!More

Best burger on the island, and the fries… the fries 🤤🤤 I could seriously eat here every day. Rotating in kona brewing co. But this hands down is my go to meal.
