We’ve visited this restaurant during previous visits and had fab food and great service however this visit was awful. I’d agree with all the previous comments beef escalopes were just strips of chewy beef on a bed of rocket we ordered potatoes that never arrived...until reminded and when they turned up they were greasy and under cooked. We never got the water we ordered and had to wait for the cutlery. The waitress was pleasant but seemed disorganised and fed up. So disappointed as beautiful setting. 😞More

We waited like 2hours to eat, the dishes (meal and fish) served alone in little quantity , if you want a side with it you have to order it aside. Then in the bill, our meals were replaced by the more expensive dish of the...menu. To avoid.More

I visited the restaurant for breakfast and was shouted at by the owner when I asked whether they had a particular item on the menu. I speak Croatian so there is no confusion about what was said. The staff were rude, the waitress said that...the owner has “the right to shout at guests and do whatever he wants because he’s the owner”. Sadly, this was not a one off incident as other guests were sworn at and shouted at throughout my stay. Such a shame as the location is lovely, but the food is below average and the treatment of guests unacceptable.More

The food here was absolutely shambolic, i ordered sweet and sour pork and recieved soggy bread with a bit of curry, i have never ordered such a foul dish in my entire life, furthermore the food came 1 and a half hours late, looking around...the resteraunt i saw numerous people complaining to the waiters about both the wait time AND the food itself, what truly annoyed me was that on the menu itself they claim that “waiting for your food is important” this, to me, sounded like a sore attempt at sweet talking the customers. The owner herself was sat near to us and came off as snobby and aragont. By far the worst resteraunt in lopud, this is the first time ive reviewed on tripadvisor but i felt the need to come onto the app and warn people of this awful resteraunt, P.S. My fathers curry was also disgusting.More

Absolutely fantastic cheese cake and tiramisu where you add your own fresh espresso. Lots of other delicious treats. Welcoming hosts serving scrumptious breakfasts in lovely facilities. An absolute favourite!

Things started well - stunning location, beautiful set up, waiter friendly, took order relatively quickly. A few items on the menu were not available, but that I can accept for fresh food.. But food took so long the waiter suggested we don’t pay for the...wine. However Starters were good - aubergine parmigiana was delicious. Main courses took ages, with three plates coming out at the same time, with fourth coming out quite a while afterwards so everyone else had to start . Shrimp and asparagus risotto didn’t have any asparagus (“ the chef must have forgotten “) and the lemon garlic spaghetti tasted like (well cooked) spaghetti with a glug of olive oil and tons of raw lemon juice. No balance at all. I can eat anything but I couldn’t eat half the pasta. If I had been at home I would have eaten one mouthful, scraped in the bin and made toast. really unpleasant. The shrimp spaghetti was underwhelming also. The steak strips were quite nice apparently though quite chewy in places. A couple of the dessert choices were unavailable and we didn’t want to give the restaurant any more money. The waiter was lovely but clearly under pressure. Unfortunately the worst restaurant experience I have had in years…. It’s rare to be served food that is simply impossible to eat. I assume it was just a bad day at the office for the restaurant team, given the other good reviews. But sadly felt like I needed to share my experience.More

The title says it all- Great food, Great service, Stunning views! This is always our first stop when we visit Lopud. A family run business in a picturesque spot by a ‘mandrac’ or small quay.

We ate at Mandrac whilst holidaying at Lafodia Resort on Lopud. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and sitting outside right by the turquoise sea is glorious. A few items on the menu weren't available - understandable as it was quite early in the...summer season and so Lopud wasn't overly busy - but there were other options to choose from instead. The food was delicious, and I must give the tiramisu a special mention - divine! Thank you for a lovely evening.More

One of my favourite places in the whole world. Sitting under an old fig tree sipping morning coffee followed by a fresh breakfast. Kind and welcoming ownwers and staff.

Beautiful food, wine and atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and nice too! Would recommend to anyone!

Food is all sourced locally and fresh! Super tasty. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was like something from a movie. Wine was also lovely and made on an island visible from out seat. 10/10! :)

We enjoyed a lovely drink in the most welcoming of family businesses, run by a wonderful lady. I would highly recommend this location when on a boat trip, it avoids the crowds, is filled with beautiful flowers and we were made to feel most welcome,...like coming home. Prices were good for the area and we would come back to this business if we were in Lopud again.More
