We visited restaurant Viking while we were on a trip in Rovinj. After so many recommendations by our friends we decided to try it. We ate shrimp coctail as apetiser and fish plate as main course. Everyting was absolutely amazing! Fish was fresh and delitious. We will absolutely visit again.

I haven't been at Viking for four years and today I was very disappointed. Spaghetti frutti di mare were uneatable and although we returned the whole portion uneaten waiter seamed uninterested. When ordering meal I asked the waiter if the tuna was fresh but the steak I got was not fresh nor was it well prepared. Finally when I asked... More

This restaurant, delightfully situated on the fjord was once chosen for a Viking village film reconstruction in the early 2000s. It's quite a drive from Rovijn – if you coming just for the food I would suggest that you stay in the town. We chose Sole but was both expensive and non-tender compared with previous experiences. Perhaps we were just... More

We stopped there after visiting downtown Rovinj and couldn't stop eating the seafood at this place. We had a fish platter that easily feeds 2-3 people as well as a risotto and some oysters and everything was just incredible delicious and the whole bill wasn't even $70 or so. If you got some time go there for lunch or dinner!

Came here with eldest son & family on a beautifully warm day. Reserved a table for lunch (think wise). It was fish all the way and 2 fab bottles of white wine. The Bill was amazing considering what we ate. None of us tried any meat dishes so no comments. Excellent friendly service, super with 2 small children

We came there just for their famous clamshells and we had mixed plate of shells which was really nice. The shells were fresh and well prepared, but I've had better shells in many places not famous just for them. Also, the fish we've ordered was well grilled but way too greasy. Finaly, we weren't fully satisfied with the service beacuse... More

We enjoyed it so much we went back for a second time during our stay. The food is very tasty but the service and location make it even better. It is a fish restaurant (and I loved my sea bass) but some of my party had rump steak, lasagne and spaghetti bolognaise and they also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Their... More

We have been twice in May 2016, and this restaurant is excellent. Food is very fresh, prepared the old way as it should be. I recomend all types of see shells, we have tried all of them. Also I recomend grilled fish, fresh and very well prepared. House vine Malvazia is one of best Malvazia vines I have tried.
