Our favorite place in Biograd

Every year we come sailing in Croatia and visit Arkada restaurant. There is always good food and big portions. It's a family restaurant with good service and great atmosphere.

Very bad experience

Too expensive for what you get! Also the staff is very unprofessional. For 15€ burger i expect a perfect burger with fine service. It wasn't near that. Dissapointed.

This is best family restaurant in Biograd, with so warm welcome you fell just like home !!! Great domestic meals, super daily many with soup, main dish and desert included... We will be coming back to this place definitely!

The mussels were very tasty and in affordable price. But scampi were to expensiv for what You got, also the parrot beeing in a cage too small for it size, acting noisy and unfriendlly, the atmosphere, food taste, and staff were very good and nice.

Way to overpriced

For the price you expect great food but the meal is less then averge. Huge dissapoinment. Even french fries and lemo my kids finishes with no problems were left unfinished. That quite an archivement :/

We found this place while we was here for a weeks visit and we decided to come back for our last meal before we went back home to England. The food is really good if your a meat lover you must have the mixed grill. Staff are really friendly. We have a vegetarian and he was well catered for.

They served me raw/frozen cordon bleu and tried to convince me this is OK, that it is just color of ham..but texture of raw chicken meat was clearly visible. When I returned steak cut in multiple pieces they threw all in hot oil again and served me again same steak cut in pieces...I could not believe this. Much better options in town.

We've been recommended by our apartment owners to visit this place and we give it a try! It was busy when we came and we got a big table for our group of 8. Relaxed atsmophere, family run the place and easy to order and comunicate! We had amazing home made fish soup and excellent grilled calamari! After desert we took lemon sorbetto which was sooo perfect! We came again second day and everything was absolutly amazing as day before! This time we ate swordfish file, and it was so delicious! Thank you for a great time and wonderful prepared meals!

From the first look it seemed to be quite cozy place. Later the real picture of the place appeared. Stuff communicates only in english, interior smels the old burn oil and prices were not competive at all. When the ordered food came everyone was very disappointed. Aperol Spritz that was ordered was prepared according to some unknown recipte and didnt taste like aperol spritz. People keep from that amatour restaurant away.

Simple bistro

Fish soup was pretty good. Nice pieces of fish in it. Sardines were frozen, but prepared very tasty. Grilled vegetables were extra nice, homemade and fresh. Smelts were fresh and fried expertly. Service is simple, but fast and friendly. Ambient is relaxed and nice. Overall, good place to eat, if slightly overpriced.
