My husband and I stopped here after visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The burgers were good. It was as if a McDonald's burger was homemade, but better! Fries were also really good. Went at 2:25 pm on Thur and they were not opened was going to be the first time going, closing hours were not posted on door.

We visited Joshua Tree NP and then came here for lunch getting here around 11:15. There was a sign on the door saying that they were short on help and service might be slow. We ordered a 1/3 pound hamburger meal and a 1/4 pound...meal. They came out perfectly cooked (no pink) and were quite good. The fries and onion rings also hit the spot. The highlight of our visit was watching our server (Christine) at work. She was the only one serving tables and the restaurant filled up shortly after we got there. Yet, she took great care of every customer, making sure their order was right and their needs were met. Not only was she waiting tables, she was taking orders on the phone, helping take-out customers, and plating food. She was an amazing efficient worker! As I paid my bill I asked her how many steps she gets a day. She said 20-25,000. I think she got that many while we were there! Good food and awesome service. We'll be back!More

Definitely try this place. Great local food and service was great. There was a chain restaurant next door that we are glad we did not go to.

Stopped in here after hiking for lunch. Greeted and we seated ourselves. Waitress came by with menus. We decided on the senior breakfasts; good value and not a ton of food. While we waited we saw tons of orders being picked up. all the food...we saw looked great. Our breakfasts are terrific. Pleasant service, coffee and water refilled often. If you're in town, great place for breakfast or lunch.More

We were about to drive to the grand canyon so needed some sustinence. The house omelette was as big as a house, not literally, but it could have fed us both with ease. The place is friendly, local, easy to miss (opposite the Mobil gas...station), but great when you have found it. The service is first class and the chef allegedly makes the food "with love". Well, whatever he uses it works!More

If you're looking for a solid diner to grab a big breakfast or a burger, this is the place. Classic locals spot, been around forever, hard working servers, and accommodating. This place is simple, old school, and extremely good value.

This family restaurant is older, isn't glamorous in any way, but is clean, and there are lots of tables. Breafasts are delicious, and portions are generous. The prices for what you get are amazing. The staff is friendly, and very attentive.

Had a ruebin sandwich, was very good, unlike every else I had one they actually put a good amount of dressing on sandwich, was done very well, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean. Would definitely come back and recommend, good value for the money
