This is a lovely atmospheric, warm, traditional restaurant on the slopes of St. Christoph. Full of diners and drinkers, great food and music, just OK service. But the billing method left a bad taste in our mouths....No detailed bill offered, just the total amount, and when I asked to see it, it was put out of my reach on the... More

The over-all experience of the restaurant was wonderful - the venue, the location, the staff, the meal all contributed to a great evening . It was recommended by our hotel and was a short taxi ride from St Anton. We were met at the door by the maitre d' who was welcoming and took our jackets. As Australians, the internal... More

Not cheap but worth it for the ambience. Open fire, lederhosen clad staff and solid local food. Expensive beer.

We returned here several times during our week as we were made so comfortable and welcome! We were then invited down to the cellar which was incredible and a real special experience not to mention the slide down to the toilets. Staff are up for a laugh which always makes an experience better.

So glad we took the risk despite the handful of negative reviews on here. The restaurant is very cosy and traditional - think cow bells, wood beams, open fires and staff in lederhosen and dirndls. We visited on a Thursday night and it seemed relatively quiet. Our waiter was very attentive - he took our coats, showed us to our... More

Lived up to all the great reviews, real theatre watching the grill chef cook haunches of excellent meat. Hubs and I chose the saddle of veal which was cooked to perfection. One not to miss if you are in the area, but do book ahead to avoid disappointment

OK...we did pick a busy post-Christmas day at 1pm for lunch when the terrace was jammed pack with skiers. However, there is still no excuse for some of the food coming after 20 minutes and some after one hour and then only because i collared the (extremely apologetic) manager. That said on a quieter day, this place would be lovely,... More

Absolutely, fantastic dining experience here last week. Our family chose the saddle of veal which was cooked to perfection on the open fire pit. It came with all sorts of vegetables and side dishes. The staff were friendly and served the food very elegantly with silver service and white gloves!

We had a great meal, but service was poor. The waiters were so very bad and not friendly at all. It took more than 1.5 hours before we got our meal. We didnt receive excuses from the staff. The person who helped us gave us a hand written bill. Very strange and there were not enough people to serve the... More

Beautiful traditional style alm with good food (macaroni dish was a standout). Kids loved the slide down to the bathroom which beats navigating the stairs in ski boots. Worth a visit
