Would definitely recommend this gem to anyone wanting a traditional Austrian meal whilst in St Anton. Very friendly staff and the food was great! Excellent value for meal too.

Spent a couple of weeks in St Anton and this was the only place we returned to, twice. Food was generous and tasty, slightly better priced than most other options. Service was warm & welcoming. Tables are large and they happily seat smaller parties together sparking conversation with others sharing the same interests. Thank you for providing one of the... More

We went with the whole family and the food was fantastic - classic Austrian dishes done to a very high standard - and the kids' dishes were perfect for the four 5-8 year olds. The service was very quick - again perfect for dining with antsy children. All in all, a fantastic dinner and we would certainly go again.

We had a lovely meal here and our waiter was great. The only thing was we didn't get a choice of table ... that in itself isn't a problem until you get joined by random folk who glare at you when you are eating ! This seemed to be happening on most tables and I guess the most important thing... More

We went there twice during our recent stay because the food was really good and there were lots of options. You have to share a table and you cannot book, but the waiting time is acceptable (20 minutes) and you can have a drink at the bar while you wait.

Came here on the first day of our holiday and came back a further 2 times. The food was amazing and the staff are so friendly - we even sat up at the bar one night and was given a drink on the house . The goulasch and spätzel was our favourite .

We were looking for a typical Austrian restaurant, and found it in the Furmanstube. We had stopped earlier in the week outside for a pint and the platter with cheeses, meats, and a shot of schnappes!!! Not to be missed. Later in week, we stopped in for a meal. VERY busy... they have communal tables and told us it would... More

This restaurant will not suit everyone; it's not the place for a first date as you do join a table with other diners but for us it was fun and sociable. The service was really friendly and prompt, the food honest, the wine and beer reasonably priced as was actually the whole meal and there's a really good buzz about the place.

This place is crowded and you should not come here if you have a private dinner in mind. You are placed at a table with other people and new people at your table are coming and going constantly. If you are in the mood for talking to strangers this is good, but I think for most people this is not... More

This was a return visit to Fuhrmannstube. Again we like it a lot! The atmosphere is very cosy and austrian. Everybody is always welcome. The service is charming and efficient. Try to speak German with the staff. The only room for improvement is that they could add more vegetarian & healthy dishes to the menu! We have been here twice... More
