Always worth a visit. You absolutely have to reserve as it’s so popular; says it all really. It’s a rustic place with great atmosphere although downstairs and no windows. Service is brisk and reliable but we didn’t feel at all hurried. You have to pay...for water on the table which is mildly annoying.More

Recently visited this restaurant having had a reasonably good experience 4 years early. Sadly pizza is no longer on the evening menu and the prices have increased. The look and ambience of the place is nice but we were very disappointed by the food. One...of our group ordered chicken cordon bleu which looked great but tasted disgusting. A few of us tried it and all agreed that the meat used must have been long past a usable date. That really is unacceptable. We also had two orders of tyrolean groestl, a simple dish which we are very familiar with. What we were served with was again very poor. The potatoes were mushy boiled and not at all fried. The meat again tasted like it was off. All in all, it was a bad yet expensive experience. I would avoid as there are many better places in Ischgl.More

Really nice decorated place, very cosy. The meals were very delicious- the traditional for Austria and European cuisine. Recommend for diner with traditional Austrian meals

It was the 2nd tim I visited this restaurant and again, I was not dissapointed. The menu is very extensive and the winecard is as well. Prices are very moderate and small childeren are wellcome. You will never leave this place hungry as the portions...are very royal. The quality is excellent and the service is friendly and fast. For sure, whenever I visit Ischgj, i will dine here. After dinner, you can enjoy the inhouse " dorfcafe" with your friends.More

We had lunch here on a very wet and miserable lunch time. Most of the lifts were shut that day so everywhere was packed. We were able to sit at the bar to eat and even though they were busy we had our food served...very quickly. The spatzl was huge but a little over salty- the soups are great too as was the tiroler grostl. Weiner schnitzl looked amazingMore

Very happy that we had dinner here, we stayed in one of the super expensive 5 star hotels with set 7 course menus. It was so nice to finally get an evening with a rustic Austrian feel, friendly service and good simple food. The pizza...which our son ordered was not so good due to a very thick base, it was dry. However, the roasted lamb and the cordon blue were excellent and so was the reasonably priced wine. We will be back!More

Eleven of us visited in January and had a variety of meals all traditional Austrian fare. We were all thoroughly satisfied and enjoyed the dishes immensely. The atmosphere too was great and the staff very attentive and efficient.

The food was pretty decent with some good local cuisine options, a decent wine list and very friendly and efficient staff makes this a pretty decent option for sampling local food in a relaxed atmosphere

We ordered the food, when it came is was terrible, so we complained, the supposed manager came over eventually and virtually laughed at us, wouldnt entertain our valid complaints then went off drinking and laughing with a group of young men. When we tried to...complain again she sent the waitress and wouldnt even speak with us. I wouldnt go here again if it was the last place in Ischgl.More

The food is quality. The service was with a smile. I would be tempted to book as they do allocates certain number for reservations. The atmosphere makes this place.
