Nice n friendly. good selection of Austrian traditional food. Traditional decor. Not on the cheap side but reasonable price /value ratio.

It's one of my favorite restaurants in this charming town and every time we come here Steinerwirt is a must-stop station. Again I had Tafelspitz and my husband had beef cheeks with home made pasta. His meal was amazing, meat as soft as butter and my Tafelspitz was as great as usual. The staff is always warm and welcoming and... More

Food was excellent, appealed to both teenagers and adults in our group. We had a private room which made our dinner extra special. While we were having dessert a local singing group stopped in and sang us a few songs. What a delightful ending to a lovely evening.

We arrived in Zell after a late flight and got to this restaurant just as the kitchen was closing. The helpful staff facilitated us and we were very appreciative. Food is good quality and good value.

Ate at this restaurant whilst on holiday in Zell am See and really enjoyed it. Both my mother and I are coeliac and the waiter was very knowledgable about what we could have on the menu (which had plenty varied choices for us). Lovely atmosphere, not too busy and friendly helpful waiting staff. Excellent wine too! Would definitely return.

Food - average, serving staff attitude nice and friendly, everything is ruined by the fact u wait 10min before somebody notice you, another 10minutes till they come for order, waiting I would say is typical for this place and it is not overcrowded.

Two years ago I visited Steinerwirt and had the worst creme brulee ever. Later I learned they had hired a new dessert chef. Tonight I visited again and the creme brulee was very good. I can also recommend the zwiebelrostbraten - excellent.
