When we travel restaurants always make our highlights.
We stayed in Saalbach for almost a week and unfortunately, in general the restaurants were a big disappointment. That was until we dined at Gappmaier.
Our accommodation was literally next door and although we had seen it from the street, and it did look very inviting, we wanted to explore the village first. We tried various restaurants which unfortunately were a big disappointment. They all felt the same with poor quality and expensive for what they offered.
On our last night we dined at Gappmaier, it did not disappoint. Food was very fresh and top quality. The service from Petra was professional and friendly.
If you are in Saalbach and find yourself in the same situation as ourselves then give this place a try. They deserve success for the effort they make and maybe the rest will follow and raise their standards.

The restaurant offers a clear menu that suits every taste. The service was excellent and the service very warm.
