True local food cooked to perfection. A small menu (always a good sign) from which we ordered four different things - and all thought we’d chosen excellently!

Thank you very much! :) Nice to hear.
Wanted to try some local cuisine, apparently this is one of the oldest restaurants in Mayrhofen. Very enjoyable evening trying traditional Knodel and pancakes, lovely wines selection - great attentive service. If you decide to go, don’t be put off by the fact this looks...like a barn - it’s the right place!More
Thank you! :)
After having a reservation for three days already we came to the restaurant only to find out that our table is literally situated in the hallway. On top of that the table was extremely low and very uncomfortable overall. Me and my partner let them...know we want to leave because of bad sitting next to the entrance. We were then asked to wait for the glasses of wine we ordered and pay before leaving. They suggested we sit at the bar while doing so, where a drunk person was harassing us. They even tried to charge us twice for each glass of wine. Meanwhile two other couples arrived and were seated at better tables. We came to this restaurant before and didn’t expect to be treated so poorly. Really bad experience.More
Thanks for the message. We have already commented on your rating on google.
A very typical Tyrollean restaurant. Limited menu with a different Special each night. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. Would suggest you book as it was extremely busy.
Delicious Tyrolean home-made dishes. Nothing fancy, but very tasty and typical Tyrolean style. Even the kids were very pleased. The restaurant serves solid dishes and specials (not much, 5-6 of a kind). Prices per dish: soups € 5-7, main courses € 10-20, excellent Stiegl beer...and delicious hot-wine. Service at the highest level. They also have local liquors which they make themselves - something like grappa. The wife could also order gluten-free dishes (e.g. trout with french fries and salad or pork with fried cabbage and potatoes, plus delicious broth).More
Thank you so much for the good assessment. We really appreciate that! Nice greetings from all of us :)
