My husband and I were a bit disappointed with slow service. It was about 11:30 on a Tuesday. Great weather, cooler than previous days had been, so we chose to eat outside on a picnic table. I think it was a matter of 'out of sight, out of mind". The food was great when it came, but we had to... More

We had a light dinner there tonight and food was excellent. Pie extraordinary and a full selection of berry pies and a cream pie of the day. Chicken pot pie their specialty for non dessert items.

Cute little place on the main road in Custer. I have it 5 stars, even though we got our pies to go, was because the pie was yummy!!!!

Had the prime rib panini, It was good, although I was a little disappointed there was nothing to accompany it; sandwich only. I got a piece of the strawberry/rhubarb pie and it was absolutely delicious.

We brought an apple pie back to our campsite and couldn't wait to cut into it. It was worth the anticipation. This was one of the best pies ever. Bakers Square should take notes. By the way, the ice cream is delicious too. It is a must when in Custer.

We didn't have any pie, but the ice cream was very good. The staff was very friendly and we would definitely go back here again.

Went there for dinner. We ordered sandwiches and chicken pot pie. Everything was good, and hot, but we thought it would be better. Just seemed pretty basic. Had chocolate pie for dessert and thought it was okay, but again not great. Prices were reasonable in an area that seems to be pretty expensive.

This pie is money! Had chocolate cream pie and bumble berry pie. Homemade and the crust was very good. Sorry Grandma this was incredible. The bumble berry had fresh rhubarbs berries and was just a bundle of goodness.

We came to the Pie Place with high expectations. Granted, we were there later in the evening on a Saturday night & it was the busiest week in August, we were greeted by a rude & tired staff. The staff were impatient with our selections & not friendly. The pie was average.

The pies at the Purple Pie Place are awesome! The apple pie was hearty and the crust was good all around. Even the edges were good to eat. A large selection of hand dipped ice cream. It's a small place but they have outside seating, too.
