Stayed nearby at The Chief Motel so it seemed the obvious choice to try the Wrangler for breakfast. The food is really good especially the hash and also loved the sausage egg and cheese texas toast - it was very filling too. Our servers were friendly and they supplied a never ending stream of coffee. Very good value too.

The senior menu is a good deal. I had two pancakes and two strips of bacon for next to nothing. The food, price, and service were all good. The restaurant has a new interior and was very clean.

Interestingly, many of Custer's restaurants and cafes are closed for the season even though it is the second half of October. Fortunately for us the Wrangler Cafe was still open. We came here for breakfast. I had the corned beef hash. My wife had eggs, bacon and a pancake. The food was quite good along with coffee. Our server made... More

We enjoyed a hearty and tasty breakfast here - it proved to give us the fuel to summit Harney Peak with our 5 and 7 year olds. A friendly gentleman who seemed to be a regular helped the busy waitress by filling our coffee for us every few minutes.

We stopped by here for a quick lunch on our way to Jewell Cave Monument. We found it to be clean and we were served quickly. My husband got a buffalo burger and I got a cheeseburger with waffle fries. Both were good, but not outstanding. The place was pretty full, so I know that it was a popular lunch... More

I enjoy the Wrangler for homestyle breakfasts, great burgers as well as for an excellent evening meal. Clean, cozy with very pleasant staff. I really think you will like it too.

We had breakfast here - food was good, service was good, and the place was very clean. Locals eat here. Unfortunately, we didn't get to have lunch here - they close at 1:30 pm daily - and our schedule always placed us back in town later than that. Recommend for breakfast. (Also, it's possible that they close during the Winter... More

After several days on the road, it was time for laundry. We were moving from Sylvan Lake to the Game Lodge on a cold, rainy morning so we decided to go into Custer to do laundry. (The laundromat was very nice.) Next to the laundry was the restaurant! It was a great convenience! Our server was prompt and helpful. We... More

The six of us had lunch there. Food was acceptable. One person thought there buffalo burger was a little tough. Looks like it would be a good place for a breakfast. Lunch was just ok.
