Had lunch/dinner meal here and tried the buffet. Food was fair. Was reasonable priced but I expected better selection and better quality food. The lodge was nicely appointed and I guess I expected the food to be too. Had i ordered off the regular menu I might have giving a better review.

We ate here twice during our stay. The first night, the waiter was a bit harried, and very slow -- forgot the bread for our salads, and had some other trouble with our order. No big deal. It happens. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful. Second time we ate here, we actually sat in the bar area playing... More

Food was delicious. Staff was terrific. Atmosphere in historic Coolidge Summer White House was perfect. Kids friendly menu with great grown up food too!

We ate breakfast and dinner in this restaurant. The breakfast buffet had plenty to offer and perfectly crispy bacon, but you can order from the menu too. The dinner menu had some higher priced options and sandwiches and burgers that weren't quite as expensive. Service was great every time. Good choice!

We ate breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was pretty good. We went for dinner that night and we were not that impressed. Felt hurried because it was close to closing time , which was 9:00 and I felt like that was a bit early.

We stopped for dinner of Hamburgers and fries. Hamburger was hand patted and very good. Also enjoyed the fries and bun used for the hamburger. Several choices of beer also. 2 hamburgers, 1 fries and 1 beer cost $18. You place order at the counter and they bring it to you. They also have chicken dinners and salads. This place... More

We were supposed to have an outdoor cookout here, but a rainstorm put our group inside. The buffet lines were handled efficiently. Food was fine, nothing special. Staff was friendly and helpful. No specific complaints. The building was Coolidge's summer White House , which was interesting.

We ate here for supper with our 2 small children July 2016. The staff was very friendly and helpful, our waitress Terra interacted so nicely with our cranky 2 year old (he loved her). Our meal was very nicely presented and delicious; we had quail and elk osso bucco and pheasant spring rolls.

This is one of the smallest historic lodges one comes across in parks and monuments but it makes up for it in quality. It's a delight to dine here.
