The bbq ribs were excellent. they charged $1.50 because we were splitting a slab of ribs and always think that is ridiculous. Clean nice patio to enjoy the weather and watch the traffic. Will go back.

My family and I ate at this restaurant during our trip to the Black Hills. It had a basic burger and sandwich menu. They had a gigantic game of Jenga for anyone to play. Everyone at my table was pleased with their meal, but I ordered the chicken sandwich. It came out and was not done, so I requested that... More

Stopped off here on a hot day for late lunch. We were the only people in and the staff were obviously busy cleaning ready for later. The waitress was very friendly and recommended the ribs - which my husband thought were excellent. My steak was really good too. We happened to say that we hadn't seen any wildlife in Custer... Awesome place to stop! Very friendly and hospitable staff! Allowed us to eat on the patio with our dog. Great food and cold drinks. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I needed a cold beer and food after traveling 10+ hours to the Custer area. We were recommend this bar by some locals for the ribs and other items on the menu. Beer was ice cold and the boiled ribs and were absolutely amazing, just what we needed after a long day of dealing with the tourists and crazy traffic... More

Stopped here after a long day in the area. Beer was ice cold and the burgers were good. Owner was very nice and easy to talk with. Good food at fair price

Not your typical new and neat place to stop but it is a family friendly place to eat. Good food and good service. We had a nice talk with the owner and she is updating the place slowly. Inside is a little dingy but clean. Patio seating is available and did I mention the good food. Get a beer and... More

My wife and I went there on 3rd of July. The beef ribs came out with fries and cabbage. The cabbage had no dressing or seasoning it was as they just cut up cabbage. The beef ribs were boiled then a little seasoning was added. The waitress told us the meat would just fall off the bone. With a knife... More

We drove into Custer just as all eating establishments were closing down for the night. We went The Frontier Grill and the nice woman working there stayed open late to feed my hungry family. We really appreciated that! The food was good too!

The place was dark and dirty more like a bar not a restaurant. Waitress didn't seem to want to work or she was having a bad day, service was minimal at best. The food was ok, but the portion size was ridicules for the price, so a handful of fries and two chicken strips for an adult for almost 11$!... More
