We walked here after checking in to our hotel and were starving. We were so happy we did. Outdoor seating and even the indoor seating was far spaced. Drinks were great and reasonable and the grilled oysters were delicious. Also got the stuffed fish which...was so fresh and yummy, the taste of New Orleans was a great compliment. Of course, we returned for oysters!More

I don’t give out many 5 stars so this place rates in my top ratings. Was told to come here by front desk guy at hotel. Easy walk down some scary streets to get here. Not restaurants fault for freaky people. I got the jambalaya...pasta and wife got a chicken club sandwich. Our waiter was good and when the pasta came I took my first bite and I thought, oh no this is gonna come back to bite me later. But it was just that first spice taste and no real after burn from it. I enjoyed every bit of it and the bread/toast was the perfect match to make sure there was no burn. Wife loved her sandwich and fries and our waiter (Brendan) came and checked at the right intervals to not interrupt. He even got me a to go cup. I will tell friend that come to NOLA to eat here. You earned my 5 stars.More

The oysters were absolutely amazing, the only thing was that service was a bit slow, but nothing terrible.

We took our kids to New Orleans for a night on our way home from Florida. The hotel recommended Creole house and wow it didn't disappoint. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was enthusiastic, knew the menu, had a wonderful attitude and provided great service. The red fish...was absolutely amazing and so was the bread pudding. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the restaurant was nearly empty. Definitely go support this restaurant and ask for Jeremiah.More

Loved the stuffed red fish ($20) and the crawfish étouffée with crawfish tails ($24). Served with a nice creole rice and a small glass of wine ($8). A Dixie Voodoo draft beer was $7.50. It was very tasty but portions could have been a little...more generous. If I had it to do over again I would have stuck with the red fish only as this was really flavorful. The atmosphere is similar to a cafeteria but there is table service and they did all have masks and observe social distancing.More

We came to New Orleans during Covid. Our hotel recommended Creole House. I can not tell you how AMAZING the food was!! We finished with Bread Pudding. I eat bread pudding often and different places. Every other Bread Pudding pales in comparison!! Go and eat!!
