Next door to Marriott on Canal Street, this made for a good lunch when we first arrived at our hotel. Crowded at lunch peak with several football games going, but we’re seated and served quickly. Enjoyable gumbo, French onion soup and a Po-Boy made a...meal for us.More

This place never disappoints me. No matter if your sitting inside or out, the ambience is beautiful and the food is great. The staff are friendly and overall a great time. This is a place that knows how to handle big groups. Everything from the...Fried Alligator, Gulf Shrimp Po-Boy, Chocolate Mousse Cake amazing i had to order an extra one to go!More

Mediocre place to eat. I am here for work as there is a large convention this week in NOLA. I got in around 7PM and there is a football game as well so, it’s busy! The waitresses were extremely nice and attentive even with a...full house. I ordered the shrimp and grits. They weren’t the best I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t get them again. They were served immediately after I ordered them and tasted old. The shrimp also had a fishy taste that you wouldn’t except with freshly cooked shrimp. I did end up getting a desert which was fantastic. The chocolate mouse cake was delicious. I would give this another try, just would want to ensure that whatever I ordered wasn’t pre-cooked and kept in a warmer to be served. (This is my opinion by how quickly it came and the taste).More

We really enjoyed our first meal here, so we came back a few days later. Round one we had the chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo, chargrilled oysters, fried alligator, and crawfish étouffée. The chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo was a little light on the gumbo....There was one piece of chicken and the sausage was not apparent. The chargrilled oysters were a bit on the salty side. The fried alligator was tasty and a cool "touristy thing" to try. The crawfish étouffée was delicious and had deep flavours. Round two a few days later, we had the shrimp po bo, sautéed crab claws, and salad with blackened chicken. The server was so nice and welcoming. The food came out quickly and was very tasty.More

Very pleasant dinner. Nice staff. Good food. 30 to 40 minute wait between 6 pm an 8 pm. Outside of that, you will be seated immediately. Bread Pudding dessert is delicious.

Three pieces of meat on a hamburger bun with a thin layer of olives. This was the only truly bad meal I've had in New Orleans. And it took 45 minutes to get it to me. There are too many good - or even mediocre...- places around to mess with this one.More

The food is basic. Service is slow. Jordan, the waiter moves fast but the kitchen is slow. The grits are not creamy. The cheese on the eggs is sliced cheese. I didn’t know that you could burn the cheese for the eggs. Not a good...experience to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend.More

This place was exactly what I was looking for because I can’t eat spicy food right now 🥲 I had the French onion soup & a shrimp salad. Both were delicious.

I am a local with friends in town, I am usually worried about eating at a tourist restaurant, meaning in the main areas of traffic. Most cook for the masses and do not have real local flavor. I was pleasantly surprised. We like to do...desert FIRST. The Pecan and the Bread pudding was amazing. Cannot rave about these 2 deserts more. We then had our apps. Oysters were very small but it is early in the season. We had all 3 styles. The calamari was over fried, The Crab claws were great and the Shrimp Lala was a favorite. Gumbo was good and the French onion soup was perfect. Unfortunately the Redfish was overcooked and tasted very “fishy”. Which redfish usually does not. We were told they were sent back a few times that day. Must have just been a bad lot. Our Waitress Jourdan, was a pleasure, If I could give her more than 5 starts I would. We will return as I do want to try the redfish again.More
