Pick up some fruit or other food when you get tired of restaurant food. This a full grocery where you can also pick up local gourmet items. Experience some of the real New Orleans.

Best meal we had in New Orleans and yes from a grocery store! If you go to Nola during crawfish season go there. My husband wanted to try a crawfish boil and someone told us to try Rouses. $2.59 a pound for freshly boiled crawfish!...More

Our tour guide told us to go to Rouses to buy hot sauce, Cafe DuMond coffee/beignet mix, and Aunt Sally's pralines at the best prices. Small shop but lots in it. Very fun to walk around.

Very interesting spot. Lots of quaint food items, wine and beer, located in the heart of the french quarter. The Blue Runner Beans we cannot get in Canada:( Very convenient if you have a mini fridge for stuff like water, juice, fruit etc.

Fresh meats. Prepared hot dishes. Hot, ready to eat crawfish in a never emptying cooler chest. Serve yourself Mochi ice cream at the exit. And all the other normal grocery items.

I love Rouses, but not sure I would classify it as a restaurant, you can pick up some dinner items prepared here, and I love this location, and the prepared food are great.

Wanted to make some of our meals, and the hotel concierge sent us here. We were amazed. It's huge, and had very nice produce, salad bar, lots of wine. The only thing we couldn't find was whitefish to go with our bagels and lox.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
