We were not able to get into the restaurant we had intended, so we took a short walk and found this neighborhood gem of a BBQ place. Great food, the employees know how to handle a large crowd, and there was only a few minute wait to be served. Can't wait to return!

If your travelling to NOLA you need to take a break from the French Quarter and take a small detour to check out The Joint. It's about $6 in an Uber and less than $10 in a taxi. The BBQ is terrific and the place is as authentic as it gets. Great sauces are made in-house and compliment large portions... More

We just stopped in since we were in the area, love the personality of this place, such cute decor and friendly people. The smoked salad dressing was delicious and the BBQ sauce is so good, especially if you like tangy with vinegar!!!!

Don't let the decor throw you off. It's simple, almost raggedy but once you dig your teeth and your palate touches their BBQ you understand why it has a religious like following in the Bywater

Oh. My. Goodness. We have been all over the place and this is the best bbq brisket and rib place that I have ever encountered! We had to wait for a table but it was so worth it. The smell of smoky bbq hung in the air, stoking our appetites. I can't say enough about the meat here. They have... More

Our tour guide told us this was his favorite restaurant on Earth, and he was born and raised in NOLA. Hearing that, I knew we had to hit this place up. It was on my list of potentials but that just sealed the deal for me. The serving size was generous, the price quite reasonable. We all had leftovers. My... More

This is some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. My highest recommendation goes to their brisket, hands down #1 in my book, ever. Moist, tender, full of flavor with just the right amount of smoke. I also sampled the ribs and pulled pork, which were also excellent, but the brisket is the star. The Joint is far from... More

Come to The Joint for a very casual dining experience and delicious BBQ. They have great food and lots of beer on tap! For two meals and two beers we spent 35 USD and we're very pleased!

Thank Ashley M
