Had dinner hear our last night. only wish we have found them earlier in our trip. The food was super fresh and quick.

I have been going to Golden Wall to fill up my Chinese food cravings while visiting N'awlins for years now and I will continue doing so in the near future. This is a very basic, no frills restaurant where you go for the food and...not the decor. The service is always friendly and fast. The portions are generous and the prices are good. But I do have to agree that not all the dishes are treated the same. I have ordered the shrimps with lobster sauce and as others have pointed out, you get a big "to go" container that ends up being almost all sauce and some shrimp. It works amazing as a sauce over fried rice though. So I don't give it four stars because you will feel cheated with some of the seafood options. Since I learned my lesson a while back, I know that most noodle, beef and vegetable dishes (and the soups) are the one's where you get the best deals. If you like flavorful Chinese food, good portions, fair prices and choose wisely, you will also love the place. I know I do.More

I ordered a pint of shrimps with lobster sauce, a pint of shrimp fried rice, and a shrimp egg roll for delivery. I was disappointed when I opened my order. The fried rice was devoid of shrimp. There were less than 10 small shrimp in...the order. It was basically an order of fried rice. The shrimp with lobster sauce had huge shrimp, but there were only six of them. It was basically lobster sauce. The egg roll was good, but small. The egg roll was half the size of what I’m used to. My order, with tip, was $20.00. Since the egg roll was small, and the other items barely had shrimp, it was overpriced. I will never order from Golden Wall again.More

Conveniently located on Canal next to Walgreens, this is the best place for Chinese near the French Quarter we know of. Fast service and great food. One of few places which make their hot and sour soup the way my wife likes it!

Worst service I have ever experienced. This restaurant does not deserve to be in business, they don’t even know how to run a business. There are so many options for late night Chinese. Please do not pick this one

I chanced upon this Chinese restaurant just off the French Quarter. It's hard to see because the sign for it is high and once inside the decor looks a bit shabby. However, the food is delicious and very well priced. In fact, I ate here...multiple times while in NOLA because the greasy, meat-heavy local diet was a bit much for me. Very recommended.More

We ordered here for delivery during the day. We didn't even look at the.menu just ordered what we order at home and it was all good. There was only one size of sweet and sour chicken and the portion totally filled the to go box!...I had hot and sour soup which was delish as well as crab wontons. All was delivered hot and fast. Would definitely order again.More

I had a child attend to my order at the counter! Maybe he's the owner's son or relative, but he's looking after our orders at the counter. Frowns when we don't know what he was talking about, since he talks fast... "So, what else?" "And...what else?" "Is that all, what else?" However, the food is good, the servings on the plates are generous, and freshly made and cooked at the back. Seems like a family business... Ordered to go Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein and an egg roll. Was looking for good cheap Chinese in New Orleans and this spot was right on. Easy to get to and real good. Staff was super friendly and very quick with our order.

Ended up taking carry out on Kung Pao. For $9.90 you’ll get a lot of good food to take and maybe reheat later. Centrally located on Canal St. Fast service, good selection and unpretentious location. However, the place is not good for eating there. Even...though is big it has a strong smell of pine sol.More

I have been ordering from this place, for Many years-It is now on Carollton. I had trouble lifting the Styrofoam container out of the bag it was So heavy! Ad quality was Not compromised by quantity. Food is consistently good, very tasty and always arrives...Hot. . I am so glad they are here. The best Chinese food in this area.More
