This is a wonderful spot for a sweet treat. One of the true gems that survived Katrina. It is not fancy, but everything is made here in the traditional Italian style.

Stopped in for some Italian cookies, ice creams, and other delectable. The treats were good and the service that we got from the young lady behind the counter was awesome. Even with a line she took the time to help my wife get exactly what she wanted and she gave samples of the ice cream to the kids so they... More

My family and I have been going here since I was a little girl. It's not in the quarter - but worth the drive.

Near the Museum of Art and City Park. Tiny little place that packs a lot of punch. The gelato was amazing! Felt like I was eating a fresh peach. A great selection of pastries too!

I stopped here because I saw it on one of the food shows. I'm so glad I did!! Fresh filled cannoli, pastries and biscotti. My fav was everything. My husband loved the pistachio eclairs, so light and delicious. Must go!!

Angelo Brocato Ice Cream has been in business for many years, interrupted only by flooding during Hurricane Katrina. Locals were delighted when the family decided to remodel and return after their store was devastated. It is better than ever! The ice cream and Italian cookies remain the same, delicious treats as always.

It's the real deal! I love everything there but especially the spumoni, fig and Almond cookies! Old New Orleans at its finest! Worth the trip for locals and tourists.

I work for a highly rated restaurant in the city and wondered how an ice cream parlor remained so high on Trip Advisors list here in New Orleans for so long. I no longer wonder why. The ice cream is outstanding. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. And the prices were reasonable. I will be certainly be back.... More
