You can't go past a good gelato place and as in international traveler who is a bit of a connoisseur of sweeter things in life (eg. Gelato and Italian sweets) I approve. Portions were good, service friendly, setting is good enough for you to sit and enjoy your treat time.

I have been coming here since the late 60s. It's a quaint, romantic place with the charm of an old Italian village establishment. I spent the summer of 72 in Europe with a lot of time in Italy thanks to the US Air Force. It would be an impressive place to bring a date or your spouse or business acquaintances... More

Not to skip over the fine pastries. I visit my daughter in Nola a few times a year and always stop by Brocatos

This dessert spot has been family owned and operated for generations - and generations of my family have stopped here for birthdays, treats for special occasions, and just because we were passing by. It's a definite New Orleans tradition! There are ices and many flavors of ice cream, spumoni, cream puffs, eclairs, and every kind of Italian cookie. Enjoy on... More

All the normal flavors. If you go here try the Spamone or Lemon Ice. There is also every type of Italian cookie. This is a forget the calories kinda place. Real cream, sugar and flavors. No imitation flavorings.

This is the best Italian Ice Cream you can have! The Spumoni is perfectly balanced! Family owned and operated. You can taste the love in each bite!

It's all about the gelato - well, maybe not entirely. But I can't go there without getting something cold and fabulous in a cone or a dish. The atmosphere is perfect. The chairs aren't that comfy, but who cares?

The title says it all. Great Spinoni to end a night out! The gelato is great as well. Try the espresso as well!

Amazing dessert stop - a must for company visiting NOLA for first or 50th time! Pastry is fabulous & extremely fresh. If there happens to be a line WAIT it's more than worth it😊

Having lived in New Orleans for over 20 years, I can say that skipping the traditional bread pudding or cream brulee at the end of most upscale city restaurant menus is not a sacrifice if you are heading to Angelo Brocato. Know that parking is very difficult, and you are not likely to get a space in front. Be prepared... More
