Good old fashion Italian desserts and gelatos. They make a pretty mean cup of coffee too. Brocatos spumoni is some of the best I have eaten.

There are no gelato stores better. FER SURE make ita part of your Big Easy visit. The pralines and cream is my favorite amd the baci(a scoop of each). Any of the ices are incredible. It has become our "go to" after dinner spot for dessert. Stays open later during the summer.

The only bad thing is there not as many as before. Miss the one in da quarter! Great canollies. Get the ice cream mix with four flavors or just experiment. Can't go wrong!

Where to take your kids when visiting New Orleans? This is the spot. Old world charm, choosing ice cream has never been so fun. Go for a walk at City Park then head over to this place to cool off.

Have been going regularly for over 35 years and my children and now grandchildren beg to go often (which we do) On the Canal Street/City Park Streetcar line and just a block from the Canal/Cemeteries Streetcar line. One of the places that makes New Orleans a food destination. Most of the immediate area's restaurants rarely sell desserts because most people... More

The ice cream, cookies, coffee and cannolis are outstanding! They are as close to homemade as you can get. my grandmother and mother made their own fig cookies and cannolis and always made sure to visit this shop and to bring these treats back home! So worth the trip if you want the real deal!

This place is a throw back in time! This is our favorite ice cream and pastry treat place in New Orleans! It is small but huge in atmosphere!

I love to go to Brocato's; it is one of those old-time delicious NOLA traditions! Their gelato and Italian ices are delicious, they have great espresso and cappuccino, wonderful cannoli and other traditional Italian pastries and cookies. We often have dessert there after dining at another restaurant in the neighborhood. Counter service, to dine in or take out.
