I can not recommend Angeline enough, but it is a bit different than typical food in the area. The menu is fairly small, with some really interesting dishes. We took a bit of a chance on Angeline because we had not spoken to anyone who...More

Angeline is an upscale restaurant in a quiet section of the French Quarter. While their menu is not extensive, it is unique, sophisticated and innovative. My husband had the lamb leg and boudin noir while I had the gulf shrimp and cornflour pappardelle. Both were...More

Highly recommend this if you're interested in newer New Orleans fare. Less butter (except for the cornbread!), less cream and more variety. I had rabbit which was probably the best I've had. My dinner partners had the same experience, they ordered some seasonal fish which...More

Of all the places in New Orleans, this place I remember most. The food was wonderful, expertly prepared and the service was perfect. You must try this one if you are in New Orleans

Angeline was a wonderful dining experience. We had reservations and were seated right away. The staff were attentive, provided great recommendations, and ready banter. The food was sensational. My wife had the cauliflower appetizer and I had the corn bread, both of which were delicious...More

Good coffee. The brunch was pretty but not that great. Perfect location for guests of Hotel Provincial but only open for brunch and dinner on certain days. Staff were very nice and efficient.

We stumbled upon this gem while walking on Chartres. We wanted to eat on a patio, because of the nice weather, and we were accomodated promptly. The food, from the appetizers to the dessert, was delicious, as was the wine. The service was very friendly...More

Angeline has been around for over a hundred years and they like to make a point of telling you. We had the 100 year menu that celebrates the hits from the last 30. It was interesting and fun New Orleans food. I wasn’t crazy about...More
