The breakfast was good and for 3am, you can't beat it. It's very close to the Bourbon Street. The food is average and service is good

Stumbled upon this place while strolling around. It was pretty early in the day and was therefore kind of quiet. Nice bartender, good beer selection and reasonable prices for the area. The Gator Balz were pretty tasty and served with a good remoulade sauce.

A gem in the French Quarter. We went there three times. On Tuesday and Thursday after 6pm they have a steak special for $6.99 which consisted of a 12oz steak and one side. Also the country fried steak, gumbo, mashed potatoes, cole slaw and rice and beans are really good. Reasonable priced with friendly service. Nicloe, the waitress, made us... More

In a pretty good bar in the Quarter, pool tables and cheap beer, very good bar food 24 hours a day. It is true that "It takes 3 hands to hold a Deja Vu burger."

it is on Dauphine/ Conit Street, since we stay at the Prince Conti, we went there for our breakfast most mornings. Bloody Mary's are great, better than Oceana's and cheaper. Maybe because it is in plastic cups. Gumbo very good. Nicole and Derek our waiters are outstanding

I was introduced to Deja Vu in 1994 by a friend. It's a great place for burgers, drinks, breakfast, meeting up with friends before or after a night on the town. Darrell at the bar has been there for years and is a great bartender...always there with a friendly welcome and good service. John in the dining area is extremely... More

Restaurant was around the corner from our hotel so we stopped in for breakfast. 24 hour breakfast served along with a nice lunch menu and a bar. Great local place which we appreciated after the more trendy "haut cuisine " restaurants. Will keep this gem on my list for our next visit to NO.

Stumbled onto this find this morning while walking around town looking for a spot for breakfast. From the time we walked in until the time we left Derrick took care of us like he owned the place and we were family. It's nothing fancy or pretentious. Just simply good food with great service and in a city where most restaurants... More

We stopped here after a day-long-tour and before a concert at House of Blues. We were on a short time frame . The service was fast and friendly. Good basic food. Nice option if you have a small group as there are so many choices on the menu. Very reasonably priced.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
