We chose M Bistro because we wanted a meal, as opposed to small plates in the Davenport Lounge. The restaurant shares the same space as the Davenport Lounge, and with the right seat, you’ll still have a great view of Jeremy Davenport and the band...More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the Ritz Carlton New Orleans and wanted to experience a sit down meal rather than utilize room service. Although I felt a little undressed, the wait staff were extremely inviting and respectful To kick off...More

This is taking the food you would expect to find in a new orleans restaurant - shrimp & grits, fish, crab cakes, etc. - and upscaling it nicely. You won't find a super-diverse menu, but it is really well done.

M Bistro is located in the beautiful Ritz Carlton and you have to go up the elevator to the third floor for the restaurants. We had a party of 8 and were seated in a private booth. All of the brunch options were tantalizing and...More

Wow, just wow. Yes, the shrimp and grits appetizer is absolutely amazing. The flavors go so well together, it has taken shrimp and grits to the next level, should be offered as an entree. The real reason we went here was to have the gumbo....More

MBistro is a great place for any meal, but especially lunch on a sunny day where you overlook the outdoor courtyard. I had a delightful lunch with a shrimp Caeser salad and those wonderful Begniets for dessert. They come with chocolate-caramel-vanilla dipping sauces and they...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
