I was recommended to this place by a local stand up comedian who made a joke about how good this place is, apparently they have a line down the block on Sunday afternoons. I went on a Monday morning and got a 10 piece chicken...wing, to my surprise it came with shrimp fried rice and a salad! This place gives you bang for the buck and flavor to savor! The chicken is light and crispy instead of being greasy. I also ordered a hot sausage sandwich which was also delicious. This place is a family run business not a major chain, but people who know about good fried chicken, know Manchu's is #1 in New Orleans. Sure there are other fancier fried chicken places, but this one has a the secret recipe, its so good you cant stop eating. I ate a ten piece without even pausing it was so tasty. This place isn’t in the best part of town and I wouldn’t go there at night. Right across street under elevated bridge the homeless camp/hang around plus who knows who else. It’s just a walk-in to-go order place and not too clean in and around....Menu is super confusing and has been added/changed way too many times. Food was ok not worth the drive we did to get there. I like “ Hole-in the Wall places but this one didn’t make the grade for us.More

This is my go to location! It's right by my house and never disappoints me. I stick with the 10pc with double rice. There's also a large variety of drinks candy and munchies in the store too. :P
