OMG! You should get to this place before it’s discovered. Just the best mac & cheese, jambalaya, and burgers. And the fries? Awesome! You’re also going to want to check out the Methodist Crack for dessert. The staff is friendly and the chef, Trace, is...More

Our bike tour stopped here, so that we could escape the rain and get a little local flavor. The bartender was super friendly, and makes a killer Bloody Mary. Definitely a highlight of the tour!

Come here for the Bloody Mary! It's spicy and delicious and what they're known for -- cheap, too. Cash only!

Was nearby our B&B. Great local bar with cheap drinks and relaxed athmosphere. Met many interesting, friendly locals.

Went here a few times to 'wet-my-whistle' and have a game of pool. The jukebox reflected a rockin' 'Juke Joint'. Sometimes partaking in the 5-7 pm Happy Hour beers, and tasty Holly Tamales during the monday night football was to be enjoyed too.

...but sit outside...too smoky! Couldn't get used to the indoor smoking all over New Orleans...the only thing I hated about our trip.

The nearest bar to our B&B (Sweet Olive) is Marie's. Loads of beers, a juke box and a pool table. The bartender was very pleasant & chatted. Can't really ask for much more!
