Ate breakfast here 2 days in a row. They have savory, as well as sweet pastries. The ham and cheese croissant is very good, as well as the chocolate almond croissant. I ordered a few things to go, and their bread pudding is outstanding! Cappuccino not too bad, either. Would definitely go back when in area again.

This very open and friendly restaurant is nice for a quick lunch or bakery stop. Food was good to very good, but a bit overpriced for an informal lunch stop. We had some issues with trying to phone our order in so we stopped and the wait was not long. There is plenty of space between tables and we were... More

We popped in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. The sandwiches were well prepared and tasty. Great flavors and a friendly, welcoming staff make this the perfect spot for a sweet treat or simple lunch. Exactly what a bakery should be.

SWEET find 2 blocks down from the little house we rented on Cadiz St in New Orleans. Everything in this most popular neighborhood bakery is beautiful and every bite lives up to its beauty! Shared the breakfast egg & sausage sandwich with my hubby so I had plenty of room to devour the most delicious chocolate almond croissant I've ever... More

I went in specifically for the chocolate crossiant. I was dissappointed with the texture of the pastry. It seemed to be much too dense and didn't mesh well with the heavy chocolate. What saved was the blueberry tart. It was so delicious. Also, the quiche loved and smelled devine. I will give the bakery another try when I'm back down.

They have a great selection of pastries, quiches and other savory items!! Nice area, easy to get to and near shopping. Seating inside and out. Would definitely go again to this bakery.

A lovely end to a delicious weekend in NOLA. It was delightful to find this French bakery in our neighborhood. The croissants, staff, and iced coffee were excellent! We were happy to be able to enjoy our breakfasts outside on cafe tables. I brought a loaf of sourdough boule home as well! We'll be back.

Get there when they open as they have everything out and you will not have to wait if they are out of something. Try the Olive Loaf French bread. The staff will be more than happy to get you what they are out of but sometimes you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. Hands Down the best bakery in... More

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighborhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
