The food is good and great atmosphere. The noodles are delicious and the sushi is pretty good too. The fried cheesecake is amazing!!!! This place stays open until 2am.

Little Tokyo is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. When I lived in Thibodaux I would drive to New Orleans just to come eat here. I've been a regular customer for about 4-5 years now. And, there's are reason's why: Atmosphere: Laid back and open. I never feel cramped in any place even when I'm enjoying private karaoke in one of the... More

One of the saddest karaoke bars I've ever seen. I went for a friend's birthday and was incredibly disappointed. The sound system was terrible, only one of the microphones worked, and no one could make out what anyone was singing. The DJ was also somewhat of a diva and would talk over the clients during their attempts to karaoke. When... More

My little sister (7yo who eats everything till the plate is wiped clean) ordered the chicken teriyaki and complained that it wasn't good. I didn't think she was serious so I tried it and the chicken tasted so bland and had a BURNT taste to it. The rolls weren't good at all & our waitress wasn't attentive at all. We... More

Had lunch on Sunday with family group. Service was slow and food tasteless..... Chef could only do one course at a time......rice, vegetables, then main. Not worth the visit.

Had my husband's 40th birthday surprise party here and I was the one surprised at how wonderful the food was. Will definitely go back when it's just the two of us and I can sample more from the menu. The place has several rooms to reserve for private parties and they bring in karaoke. It was definitely a lot of... More

We went to the Hibachi table to celebrate our son's birthday. After being seated at the table and being served drinks, which was a little slow due to it apparently being shift change we were told, we were then asked to move down the table to make room for a party of 13 that would be seated at the same... Have been here several times with friends. Really like v the specialty rolls like Mystery St roll, Poboy roll & Mango roll. Also love the spicy sauce on the edamame.

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
