A lot of options for different tastes. Great service. Very kind and welcoming. My salad was delicious. This spot felt very local and reminded me of my favorite spot in Charleston (dell'z).

After much rich and buttery food in NO the kale and beet salad did it for me. My disappointment came from the laziness of the staff to reheat what coykd have been a delicious pastry portobello mushroom tart in the microwave and sell coffee in paper cups only. C'mon people, if you're going to sell healthy food, try and be... More

Hit up this place on Frenchmen St for breakfast twice on our recent trip. It was close to the hotel and had excellent omelettes. The owner was very friendly and the shop had a nice vibe.

This place made my morning! In fact, it was Mardi Gras morning and we were gearing up for the walking parade. I got a delicious coffee with whiskey and nutmeg in it and my boyfriend got what he called "the best breakfast burrito I've ever had." This was exactly what we needed to start Mardi Gras off right! Super fast... More

I absolutely loved this place. New Orleans is not generally known for great vegan/vegetarian options, but this place is loaded with them, and with as much variety as you will find anywhere in the United States. Yes, they serve breafast, but that's not why we came, and that's not what we enjoyed. We cme for lunch, and had the best... More

Nice variety of offerings, some a bit eclectic. Prices are good for what you get. Order at the counter and they bring it to the table. Very good coffee, fresh juice. They say it's alligator sausage, but how would you know? Nice ladies behind the counter, very friendly and upbeat without making a fuss.

A wonderful spot for Breakfast. We started both our days in New Orleans at Cafe Rose Nicaud. The space was large and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious- The Rose Benedict was outstanding and my Vegan companion's Tofu Scrable was one of the best she has ever eaten. So, if you find yourself on Hungry on... More

poor, poor, Sarah!!! she actually came to refill my wine glass (complimentary!) so that i would not kill the two rugrats (THAT is a compliment to the children) who were DESTROYING the atmosphere of lunch, but thankfully, could NOT destroy the wonderful flavors of the chicken pesto sandwich!!! fabulous fabulous fabulous! i wanted to try EVERYTHING on the menu, but... Must be a popular local hangout, after we order the line for long. Nice place on Frenchman street. Good food, good portions.

Neighborhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
