Went in with no reservations. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Food was decent Italian fare. I recommend the Oysters Tommy

My wife and I had a great experience at Tommy's. The good food was fantastic, the atmosphere was very nice, and our server, Crystal, was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be...going back when we revisit the city.More

Husband and I were looking for a nice place with good food for his birthday. Tommy's was a great find. Service was always with a smile and the food was flavorful and tasty. The bread on the table was soft and delicious. Our meals were...hot and wonderful. Prices are as expected, a bit higher end but not like an exclusive restaurant at all. People were dressed from shorts and Ts to suits and dresses. I think the shorts and Ts people were about the only disappointing part of the experience. Everything the restaurant did seemed wonderful. Reservations did seem to be a good idea.More

We had an excellent dinner at Tommy’s. We arrived on a Monday night. They are open until 9 pm on Mondays. We ended up being there later. Our waitress and barmaid were superb. We were welcomed and our waitress and barmaid were wonderful and friendly....They brought us a free birthday dessert with a candle and sang to us. We loved that. Also, if u check in with Yelp, u get a free dessert! The lasagna was super good. My favorite lasagna, anywhere with lots of cheese. Get the pull apart, freshly baked garlic rolls! We recommend the paneed chicken breast. Sooooo big, homemade, and delicious. We both loved our desserts: bananas Foster bread pudding and tiramisu. The bananas Foster bread pudding was tasty and warm with sauce, ice cream and bananas. I thought it was the best bread pudding that I’ve had in New Orleans. I’ve been trying quite a few bread puddings.More

Check out their Italian cuisine, it is phenomenal. The staff was so helpful when looking for a couple great bottles of wine that are available to purchase for while you’re there or take them with you.

Delicious meal in a quaint little restaurant. I stopped in on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Bartender was awesome. Had a Cosmo Bianco and spritz Tuscany. Both great drinks. The veal picatta was delicious with blue crab in the sauce. Great experience.

We have been to Tommy’s on our last two New Orleans visits, always had a good experience. This time was different. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Salads were unremarkable. My wife ordered the seafood pasta, which was presented with three crawfish and one shrimp....My veal piccata, had a small piece of veal, overcooked. Manager took my wife’s food off the bill, but it was not a pleasant experience. We have taken it off the list on N.O. Restaurants to return to…too many choices to include this kind of food.More

Service was slow, food was ok but partner had fish pasta and only had bits of fish in it. I asked for the wine menu again and after bringing it waitress disappeared and we had finished our meal before she returned therefore we didn't order...another bottle There didn't seem to be much focus on the customer after initial engagementMore

Had a delicious meal at Tommy’s. CANDACE our waitress was wonderful! She was covering several tables and let us know there were some big groups coming in. She was anleays checking on us annd made sure we had everything we wanted. Our food came quickly...and was delicious. Had fried eggplant appetizer and a Chopped salad; veal parmigiana and veal piccata. All were delicious. They have a 50% off bottle of wine from 5:00-10:00, we selected a perfect Peju Savignon Blanc to pair with our meal. I highly recommend Tommy’s Cuisine for a great Italian meal in New Orleans. And ask for Candace, she is a super server!More

Went with others’ recommendations and got the fish capri. It was fine but we were not as impressed as we expected to be. Service was good and bread was yummy. Wish the fish came with a side of pasta instead of some broccoli

Our server, Lola, was wonderful! A good server acknowledges her customers requests even if she is very busy and Lola was a delight! The hostess that sat us was also delightful and though the main dining room was full, she walked us through a large...lounge to a very pretty back room they must be used for private events. With a large convention in town, she bent over backwards to seat us. The food was delicious from the beginning mussels appetizer to the Pompano entrees and the Rene brûlée—everything was properly prepared, plated and presented. We will be back to Tommy’s one day! .More

This is a great traditional Italian restaurant. It’s is a very nice and classic setting but not pretentious. The food was all amazing and large portioned. The wine list is extensive and great choices. Our server Laura Lee was fantastic. She was very attentive and...knowledgeable of the menu. We had the spinach and artichoke dip for appetizer. Then our entrees were the filet, eggplant napoleon, chicken parmigiana, gulf fish Capri and lasagna. Everyone said they food was delicious.More
