Tommy’s knows how to serve a meal with the quintessential New Orleans reverence for fine ingredients and artful combinations. At Tommy’s Cuisine, Creole Italian comes to life with entrees like roasted Duck Tchoupitoulas and Crabmeat Sardou and appetizers ranging from baked oysters to escargots simmered in vermouth.

Had dinner while in New Orleans for a tradeshow.
Sat in front of the restaurant but we had their top server. Appetizer we got the fried oysters which were very good as the picture shows.
Ceaser salad was very good as was the bread.
Had an 8.30 reservation and left at 8.55 after poor bar service and not looking promising for a table.
The place has been expanded and modernized -presumably after Tommy sold out-preferred the old Tommy’s !
Better than expected. I was nervous after reading so many bad reviews but I thought it was great. My kids thought it was great too. I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but my experience was great.
Such a nice Thanksgiving outing!
It’s difficult to be helpful here since some of the Thanksgiving menu options were different from the regular menu, but I’ll try. Pumpkin crab soup, could I just bring home a gallon of this heavenly concoction?!?! Fantastic!

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
