We were three couples who were in New Orleans for a long weekend. The restaurant is located not far off Poydras on Tchoupitoulas Street. We had reservations and arrived early so we sat and ordered drinks in their wine bar. They were able to sit...us shortly afterward and we had another round of drinks and ordered our food. Atmosphere was awesome as you would expect in an Italian restaurant. Great service and food so we will definitely be returning.More

We were celebrating my partner’s birthday and the service was amazing, food was the best meal we had the entire 4 days in New Orleans. The Chef was present and attentive with everyone in the restaurant. Jada at the front door was sweet and so...responsive to the needs of every guest. Leon was a phenomenal sever, couldn’t have asked for better. The environment is warm, welcoming and comfortable. Would recommend highly for great classic Italian mixed with New Orleans originals. We had the soup of the day corn and crab bisque 5 stars!! Then the shrimp remoulade, followed by Gulf Fish Capri and Lasagna!!! Absolutely every bite was worth it! Yes the Tiramisu is made fresh in house and was so good I had to have a second togo for the next day..More

Lovely restaurant with great service and great food. I had fish with almonds in a delicate white sauce and my husband had a veal and pasta dish. We had Creme Brûlée for desert. Everything was delicious.

This was by far the worst experience I have had at any restaurant in New Orleans. If I could give this place negative points I would. We arrived for dinner at 8:15. We were sat and ordered drinks (mostly bottles of wine) and dinner. After...waiting an hour for wine, we asked our waitress what was up and that's when the drinks started to come out. Food was very sporadic at best when it did come out. Half of our table never received the food they ordered, and half of the food that was delivered was flavorless or inedible. After asking for the manager, we were told there was a slow down in the kitchen and the remaining food would arrive shortly (it never did). We asked for the manager again and spoke with him about the food. And had him remove what was missing so we could pay for what we received and possibly salvage the rest of the night and get meal elsewhere. 20 min later, the bill came and had to be readjusted due to no food being removed. The manager then had a young waitress deliver the revised bill. Spoke with the manager one last time before leaving. By the time everything was said and done, and due to the restrictions for Covid, any other restaurant was closing for the nightMore

My buddy chose Tommy's Cuisine for dinner our last night in NOLA. The food was great. The ambiance was great and so was the service. Our server Leon, was friendly and knowledgeable. He had a lot of flare. The portions were good and the food...was flavorful. I would highly recommend Tommy's if you are looking for good Italian food when visiting NOLA.More

So we came in at 730- two big tables were there ahead of us- we did not get served until 9- we were annoyed, but having a good time with each other so not as snarky as we might have been otherwise. They apologized and...gave us some great desserts- creme brule that was good, a bread pudding with vanilla ice cream that had a very good bourbon sauce on it and a thing that had too much whip cream. Our main dishes- the steak was fabulous- great cut, perfectly cooked. My fish amandine was ok, but not wonderful- and I think it had been sitting around- it was warm, not hot. The pizza one of us ordered was very good- sort of Chicago deep dish style- my Caesar salad, unremarkable. It was a good meal- but I am under the impression they are supposed to be an excellent place- and for us, they were just very good. Kind people though and they tried hard to make it up to us for leaving us sit so long-- and while we appreciated, the fact is that wait was over the top late. Wine by the glass ok but not a lot of choices. I couldn't decide if this was supposed to be a family restaurant or haut -cuisine or both. I liked it, I would go back and give it another chance to do a brava performance- but this time I would just give it a B plus.More

As soon as you walk in the aroma will activate your appetite. There were so many delicious dishes being served. I had the Filet which was a very delicious steak. The servers were very friendly and made you feel as though you knew them forever....Definitely stop in when you’re in NOLA.More

I have been an on again off again patron of Tommy's. I had been more off than on since around late September. I stopped in during MardiGras seson nd the new menu ws amazing. I had slacked on visiting becuse of the wait time for...meals. To my surprise I had a speedy delivery steaming hot and well plated. I asked my server about the changes for the better no doubt and I was informed they had a new kitchen Chef and I quote " who is on it". I tip my hat Tommy's for all the imrpovements in the right direction. I've been back twice and raved to friends and coworkers about Tommy's being a must visit spot.More
