We had stopped for drinks on our way back to our motel and checked out the menu and chatted with the staff. For some reason we decided to leave. Once back to our motel we asked our door men Michael Love for a good place...More

I stopped in this place during the super bowl. The restaurant was not very packed, and service was still very very slow. The waitress couldnt have cared less about our satisfaction. She confused orders, gave one of our plates to another table. One of the...More

They were very accommodating when we came in with 4, added 2 more, then added 3 more after that. Great steaks cooked the way you like. They also have lobster, shrimp, fish, etc... Nice staff. In the Quarter but far away enough from Bourbon Street.

We went to Star Steak and Lobster House after purchasing a groupon coupon. The meal was excellent, the price was very reasonable and the service could not be beat. It was a relatively quiet night by New Orleans standard so the restaurant was not packed....More

My wife and I ordered the lobster and steak special and a blackened red fish, and then shared. It was perfectly cooked, much better than any other restaurant we've been to in New Orleans. Even the sides were perfect.

My husbands dinner was terrible! He ordered the filet medium and it came raw and cold!!! Smothered in some nasty tasting broth that contained 3 different colors and running on the plate! We sent it back and I do believe it was microwaved and smothered...More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
