Love the atmosphere here. Live band every night. Crawfish etouffee was very good. Wife had a wonderful Shrimp Poboy. Prices very good for the amount of food. The best is the Bread Pudding. A absolute must have at the end of the meal. I will...More

First time in NOLA and this is right down the street from our hotel. The waitress was incredibly helpful to help us choose our first true creole meal. The stuffed mushrooms came deep fried and were incredibly delicious and filling. Xydeco Gumbo is a slap...More

Deep fried seafood was dry and tasteless. We’d not have gone here had we known any better. It is good for tourists, families, company gatherings. I can’t imagine the locals coming here unless they need to.

A wonderful place, get off canal and poydras streets make the trek! Had to get meetings at the Nola conversation center. Talked to a few people, it only gets better at night!

First the positive. Grest place, good music. I was seated to bardisk because I was alone, long line to get in. Shoose your time smart. Negative, I don't loke to get My appetizer and main to my table at the same time. That's what happened...More

Go to Mulates for great food and live music that starts at 7:00 pm. Large Cajun menu. Red beans and rice are wonderful. Also had My Girl martini. If you like drinks that are a little sweet, you’ll love this drink. It went down sooooo...More

None of the food was hot when delivered. The crab stuffed catfish was okay. The coleslaw was warm and a strange yellow color. The bread pudding was just okay. Nothing to bring you back.

It was good, just not great. We’ve ate the one in Breaux Bridge several years ago & loved it. This didn’t taste like we remembered. We got the meat pies, fried fish, fried shrimp & grilled shrimp. The shrimps were good. The meat pies were...More

A visit to Mulate’s is the opportunity to see, learn about and hear Cajun food and culture. While there may be other choices, Mulate’s stands out and a chance to observe some Cajun culture and enjoy Cajun music and dancing. Large dance floor and a...More

Such great food and the kids loved it too. We did have to wait a while and then they called us while we across the street, but they accommodated us quickly when I checked in and it was sooo worth it. The gumbo was delish...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Any of the above but you might want to do appetizers with drinks. Most people will have dinner then stay for The evening to watch the dancing.
