When going to Mr B's, you just have to relax in nice banquettes with a warm old bar feeling. Best Gumbo in the French Quarter. Yes it is a bit pricey, but if you want fine, you will pay whatever it costs and still come...More

It had been 20 years since my last trip to New Orleans. While I knew the food scene had changed, I wanted to stick to the "classics." Yes, Mr. B's is in the French Quarter and some might consider it a tourist spot, but I...More

Stopped in for dinner after 8 on a Monday evening. They still had a wait line. It was worth it! I ordered Bacon wrapped Shrimp and Grits. The grits were the best I ever had. so creamy, like mashed potatoes and very flavorful! I would...More

Food was delicious. A couple of the bartenders were a little snippy/rude when we were waiting at the bar. Waiter was wonderful with a great sense of humor.

Best food EVER! I will travel back to New Orleans to eat here. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits and the fried oysters.

Our server, Robert, had a fantastic sense of humor and made the meal that much more delightful. Starting with oh-so-crusty bread, we enjoyed the gumbo for a quick lunch. The menu offers a wide selection of Louisiana favorites and more. The atmosphere is classy, but...More

This is now one of my Top 10 on my list in this country! We split the BBQ Shrimp and the Shrimp and Grits. The layering of flavors – well it was a piece of heaven in every bite. The bread (crispy on the outside-light...More

Our foody son in law told us not to miss Mr. B's for lunch and he was so right! Hubby says barbecue shrimp is to die for! We really enjoyed our lunch and think you will too.
