We loved this place! The wait staff did an impeccable job catering to our every need. The wine list is extensive. I would recommend the barbecue shrimp. It is divine! After you finish eating it, they squeeze a lemon on your hands and then give you a hot washcloth. Lovely! We will definitely dine here again.

The food and service was excellent! We had 5 draft seasonal beer for $28.75, the crab cake app for 18 and 2 BBQ Shrimp for$28 each. We ate everything on the plate!

Recommended by travellers to try the Sunday brunch as a fine restaurant alternative to regular lunch food. Excellent food with great service... we had the shrimp !

The appetizers weren't as expected specially the soup samples including the gumbo. Few options in the menu for entries. My wife fish was ok nothing special but my pork-loin was excellent. The cake and ice cream for Dessert was regular. Finally, the service wasn't friendly.

First off let me say it was easy in and easy out. Usually restaurants of this caliber makes getting seated difficult at best. Had a great waiter with 6 stars on his lapel, signifying 30 years of service. He was gracious, sarcastic, helpful, and let us eat. Great combination of wait staff for our table as well. The food was... More

Our 5 checked in and were quickly seated. No reservations but we got right in. We were seated with a nice view of the restaurant. The tuxedo wearing waiters were bustling & hustling all over the place. We ordered 3 appetizers: Duck spring rolls, fried shrimp and scallops. I loved the duck, the shrimp was ok and the 2 scallops... More

This is a very classy restaurant with excellent food and service. The BBQ shrimp is phenomenal and the French bread to dip into it is amazing. The gumbo yaya is delicious as is the seafood gumbo. The roasted red pepper and goat cheese soup was excellent. The redfish grilled and topped with lump crabmeat was wonderful. My only complaint is... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
