My husband and I visited this restaurant while staying in Nola for our 1 year anniversary. We had never heard of it, but because it was directly across the street from the Hotel Monteleone, we decided to check it out. The atmosphere is perfect for...More

After a week in NOLA this was the last stop before we left for our flight. Nice bar atmosphere, good servers. Had the spring rolls and crab cake, really good. Loved the feel of the bar and attention to detail.

Gumbo and Etoufee originated in New Orleans. Its a simple dish. And easy to screw up. This place, when you walk in, feels like they were the ones that invented it (they didn't) and they hold true to New Orleans style and heritage. They didn't...More

Oh, I still dream about the crab-filled handmade ravioli with NO ricotta (thank goodness!). It came smothered in chanterelle mushrooms...yeah, I really liked this place.

Came here specifically on a recommendation for the bbq shrimp. They were served head on in a delicious, buttery roux with loads of bread. Also had a filet with truffle butter and truffle Parmesan fries that were good, but nothing to write home about. The...More

Perfectly cooked and presented steak. Beautiful, rich seafood dishes and excellent, attentive, but not intrusive service....More

We went here because we were told the BBQ shrimp was the best in the world. Honestly, it didn't taste any different than from our local "New Orleans style" restaurant. The service was mediocre but I have a feeling we just got a terrible waiter.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

Not sure if they have a private area. When you come in the front door they have a bar on the right side with a dining area. They also have a larger dining area on the left side as you walk in. We dined on the left side and... More
