My wife and I had dinner here on a weekday night while on a trip to NOLA... and it was packed. Glad we got a reservation. I really liked the dark wood and green leather in the restaurant which gave it a nice classic feel. We had three waiters making sure we were happy throughout our meal. I had the... More

We walked right in off the street and got a table for two immediately. Very nice atmosphere, service was great and the food was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it.

Found this place whilst walking up Royal street looking for a place to eat, at first pass it looked good but there was a queue so carried on, didn't see anything else and on second pass there was less of a queue so went in. Had a 30 minute wait at the bar for a table but the food was... More

Really nice find. Food was delightful and service really good. Had the chicken which was really tasty and some nice wine. The hot bread is a really nice touch. Not cheap !

Excellent service by servers, good food. Nice vibe in place.Signature dish BBQ prawns and pecan pie. I personally think a bit overrated. Would give it a 5 star for service and a 4 star for food.

We were walking along Royal Street when we realized we needed something to eat. We were right in front of Mr. B's Bistro - what luck. The staff informed us that they were not seating for lunch but that we were welcome to sit at the bar and order. After perusing the menu, and seeing how beautiful the bar was... More

Four star? Five star? Nope. More. We went in two groups of six people each. No matter what was ordered, from steak to soft-shell crab, and gumbo to pompano, exceeded all expectations. The steak eater said his beat Ruth's Chris by a mile. Service was impeccable. Menu prices seem high, but the food and experience justify them.

Been to Mr B' a couple of times really enjoyed it. Food is excellent service is great. I haven't paid on either occasion but I understand it's reasonably priced considering it's one of the top restaurants in the area.

In my humble opinion, there are three things that make a restaurant worth eating in. The food has to be excellent and tastefully presented, the noise level should be such that one can have a conversation with their party without having to raise their voice, and the temperature in the establishment should be comfortable enough not to be obligated to... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
