Everything was just magnificent, the aromas and the food were all delicious. The place is lovely clean and feels homey. I applaud the chef for the menu selections. I had seafood and the Louisiana seafood is always good.l

This is a fast food place in the food court at the Riverwalk outlet mall. You order at the counter and it does take a little while to get your food. After you have your food you can eat indoors in the food court area or outside on the balcony overlooking the water. I had the shrimp po'boy and it... More

Had lunch here the other day. I had the catfish po'boy and fries and it was very good. The sandwich had lettuce, tomato and mayo on it. Service was a little slow, but overall the food was good.

We were always fans of Mike Anderson's seafood when it was in the French Quarter. After Katrina, they moved to the food court of the Riverwalk. The menu was a little smaller, the food is still amazing. We had our dog with us, so we had to get take out on this visit. We love "The Norman", fried shrimp with... More

A place to get a Po'Boy. I suggest the shrimp Po'Boy. Then you should take your food and eat on the balcony outside overlooking the Mississippi so you can watch what is happening on the river. Between the Hilton and the Convention Center.

We ate in the location at the food court in the Riverfront Outlet Mall. My wife and I shared a plate of popcorn shrimp with cole slaw and red beans and rice. It was a perfect lunch. The shrimp was good and plentiful, the batter was not too heavy and had a spice that gave it a nice little kick... More

Nice food, not the best in NOLA but they have plenty of choices of local food, and the prices are quite good. Try the Po Boys.

Considering that they are in a food court at a mall, I'd say they have great food. I realize it’s a small chain with regular sit down restaurants, but I didn’t expect this in a food court. I have eaten far worse food at “classy” sit down establishments. My food was well seasoned, well prepared and fresh. It’s a longer... More

The food was the same quality that you might find at their full service restaurant in Baton Rouge. Quality seafood at a food court not what you normally expect. No complaints. Quite good for the price.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
